No height in attack so we lack that option to keep defenders guessing.
Hard to break down a parked bus

Absolutely. And a worrying amount of teams are parking it. In some ways the weaker teams are more of a challenge for us because we struggle to overcome their negative tactics.

So happy with a 0.0 draw
My God, what has happened to us . Huffs are digshite but we enjoyed it . Sorry I ain’t having that let’s have some honesty
Let’s have some coaching
Let’s have players with pace
Let’s attack the opponent
Let’s bury this obsession with possession
All clubs do is sit back and wait for us to give the ball away
Happy ,course looks good on the forum

Not sure there are any Swans fans happy with a point today against an awful Huddersfield side who had no attacking intent at all.
We could and should have would have won and it is frustrating.
However could you imagine being a Hudds fan watching that rubbish week in, week out ?
In that context,as above, rather be a Swans supporter

I’ve just read it. “ I enjoyed that” . Not my words
Is this where we are now, haooy to take a point against a team so dire .

Not long ago,we were unhappy with a draw against the likes of Aston Billa

We are excusing sickening regression

75% possession and Benda one of those for MoM. tells a few things

Window we need a striker, lack of goals from the front is worrying.

Best have a think before you post to OHL.

Better still to be honest and admit our club is in real shitecwith a coach like this .

Meanwhile,on topic, our coach says we were “ dominant”

It’s only across the road from you mun, you could have made an appearance.

We were dominant against a side that for 95% of the game parked 11 players behind the ball.

our last win was 5 games ago against a poor 10 man Cardiff ...we have managed 4 points from a possible 15....we huffed and puffed today against the side who are bottom of the league at times we looked like we were out for a stroll in the park.
But we were dominant it's about time this football visionary worked out how to combat teams parking the hus ...otherwise we have to get used to not winning and maybe we will all go and watch paint dry instead

I cannot for the life of me fathom why RM is so reluctant to play Oba up top with Piroe floating behind him as a #10 when they scored 26 goals between them in that setup last season. It almost feels like he's doing everything in his power not to.

Add the lack of quality width offered by Lati/whoever this season compared to Wolf & Christie last time around and it's not hard to see why the forwards are struggling for goals.

The fullbacks were an issue last year and co tinue to be one this year. Wolf and Christie didn't exactly perform well, but they are being made to look like Cafu and Carlos by the boys Martin is chucking out there.

Latibaudiere is a CB turn makeshidt wingback, it just doesn't work. He can't cross or beat a man, thats fine in itself if you have someone on the left who is much more attacking. Unfortunately we are lacking on that side too.

Don't bother replying to the negative one, it was a tough day at the office.

Huddersfield defended well, yes we definitely need a player of two with pace BUT we are not Huddersfield who are imho down, feel sorry for their fans as they are probably the best I've ever met plus they have the best pubs which serve the best ales especially the Kings head on the station, I could live there 🤤

We have lost 2 of our last 11 games, we are sitting one point from the play offs in a very good position. 👍

Just got back, had a great day with a few jacks, eldest a bit ill couldn't come (soft tvvat) met catullus and his boy, an absolute gentleman, good crack, game was stressful as per but ateotd we had to try and break down 10 players and a gk in their own half, burnley would have struggled, could have lost it at the end, we need a bit of pace on the left and a bit of luck, we can stay in the play offs.

I just got back, great to meet up with Fireboy and his mate and that said there was plenty about today that wasn't good.

First half it was like we were happy to keep possession and do fark all else. Our crossing was abysmal, it was nowhere near any of our players, it was just scooped up into the area with no pace or direction, so frustrating. There was no pace, yet again we were sideways and backwards and taking all day to move the ball, we made it easy for Hudds to defend and they caught us on the break a few times and nearly pinched it, they had a good chance but Benda did well.

The subs, Cooper was doing well but he was hooked, he should have been in the middle with Oko-Flex and Pato out wide. Piroe was hooked too but he had terrible service, might have been better to try the two up front. Yes we picked up second half but the subs were like for like and we didn't force Hudds to make tactical changes, it was different players doing the same things just a iittle better than first half.

We need to play with more pace, it's been an ongoing theme this season, walking football at times. It;s so easy to defend as Huddersfield showed again today because they were really poor otherwise.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

A £10 million striker helps. A lot.

After last season how much did we rate Piroe at and how much did we demand for Oba? Even a very good striker wont score if the service is bad.

Piroe got next to nothing today and when Oba came on he was screaming for passes but as usual, we were too cautious.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

This is surely the most bizarre season we have ever witnessed since returning to the championship.
And still it’s possible we could go up.

Putting aside Man City win that match 9 times out of 10.

If Man City put everyone behind the ball, Brentford have much more possession and they don’t score twice. Getting forward quick is no use, because everyone is already back. Same with long balls for Obafemi to run onto.

This is our problem. We can add Huddersfield to the list of teams who have set uk like us under Paul Clement recently. Cardiff aside, they’ve all been successful with it.

Martin quickly needs to figure out how to break down a packed defence without relying on Piroe banging in half chances like he was last season. We’re going to have a lot of possession against teams who allow us it.

Very valid points...yesterday wasnt the first time a team has parked the bus against us and it won't be the last so our football visionary manager needs to find a way around that.

Reading between the lines of Cats posts questions need again to be asked of our selection and tactics in the day. Again this isn't the first time these things have been said.
Yes my thoughts on Martin are well known many will defend him as going into the break we find ourselves joint sixth yet not long ago we were 4th.
Yesterday's football was also not an entertaining watch...do people really believe Martin has it to change yhings

We are still persevering with a CB at WB despite having Finn Steven's on loan why didnt we start the game with boko flex and Pato from the off and take the game to them?
As those of you who post or read the other forums will know many fans are not if supporting of our coach as mist on here and are questioning his ability and tactics I would ask those who are his ardent supporters as post he is a good manager quantify that what are the attributes and performance indicators that say he is or maybe will be
