March 2011, the season the Swans went up to the Premier League. This shirt is from the Watford game in March 2011 and worn by Leon Britton. That season the Swans finished third and if you recall QPR were under investigation for a variety of breaches but they still edged the league. Only a Cardiff slip up at the end of that season prevented both sides meeting in the play offs, and indeed the play off final. But Cardiff bottled it again. The signature is only light due to the picture and camera angle. The shirt comes in a protective civer and framed.

Swansea City Under-21s return to Professional Development League action as they get set for south Wales derby action at Leckwith Stadium on Tuesday afternoon (2pm).
The Swans will be looking to bounce back following home and away defeats against Millwall in the space of a few days.
The Bluebirds, who were in fine form in the early stages of the campaign, reaching the semi-finals of the Nathaniel MG Cup, come into the fixture having lost their last four outings in the league.
Cardiff ran out winners in the reverse fixture in November, after Michael Reindorf's strike proved the difference at the Joma High Performance Centre. |

On this day in 1958, Kenny Morgans was found unconscious amongst the debris of the Munich air disaster involving the Manchester United soccer team, he was the youngest player involved in the crash and the last survivor to be rescued from the mangled wreckage, five hours after the official search was called off.
Born in Swansea, Morgans signed for Manchester United in 1955 and was soon the club's first-choice right-winger. He recovered physically from the crash and was back in the side before the end of the season, but his playing form was never the same and left the club in 1961 to play for Swansea Town and later Newport County before retiring and returning to South Wales to run a pub, before finishing his working life as a ship's chandler.
