Russia Iran and china have said if the west goes in to syria they will oppose it militarily.
The recent chemical attacks seem like a bit of a false flag to me. Why would Assad use them on his own people when he is winning the war against Al Qaeda ? It does nt make sense.
I think we could be fed the same rubbish like we was in Iraq,Afghanistan and Libya so we may go in and invade. Then the place would be turned over and left un governable with terrorist gangs in power fighting amongst themselves.
But this time will be different if there is opposition from the above.
Do you think the stage is potentially set for a world war?
Should we be worried if things got out of control there in the Middle East or maybe not?

What the American military thinks...
After 13 long years fighting against Al Queyda in Iraq and Afghanistan they are now being asked to go into Syria and fight along side them against Assad.
Thousands are not happy about this and rightly so ....this is one fecked up situation and the American people have had enough.
Remember today is the big day fro Congress to vote yes or no...

Absolutely,they were really pissed off the Russians proposed this as they really want to go to war.
They even retracted the statement by John Kerry a few hours later saying he did nt mean it!!
But it now seems they will work with it as a possible exit for Obama to save face as it looks like he may loose the vote.
Lots of talk about Israel starting a false flag soon to get this war going as it looks like the American Congress has come to its senses and may vote no on Wednesday.
These slime all politicians are only voting no because they are deluged with calls from their constituents they represent and are afraid of not being re elected if they are in favour of attacking syria.
As has been said it Ian t over yet and they will try to find a way to kick this thing off.

Iraq was one of the most stable nations in the Middle East until the good guys turned up and now look at the mess its in, bloody, sectarian violence is a daily occurrence, its a breeding ground for extremists but never mind, at least we imposed a democracy on Iraq I'm sure that's working out really well for them.
Iraq had no WMDs specifically none that could be used within 45 minutes that would threaten our national security nor were they supporting Al Qaeda, in fact you could probably argue they were on our side against AQ. George W Bush was talking about regime change in Iraq before the WTC terrorist attacks had even happened (around the time that he was elected when he was trying to make his "star wars" project happen) the war against terror gave him a convenient excuse to do it.
Yes Saddam Hussein was a brutal dictator but its not as if he was the only one around, we were and still are actively supporting lots of equally brutal, murderous dictators around the world but we don't mind them because they buy the weapons they use against their own people off us. | |
