Left when Boscombe scored their 3rd.

Just so that I could avoid their fans on the rail replacement bus.

Everybody on the bridge laughing and smiling.

It doesn’t seem to hurt people when we lose.

I get that we all know we are screwed, but why do so many Saints fans look so bloody happy?

It wounds me deeply that we lost today.

Doesn’t seem to be the case for most though.

I left when they scored their 3rd too and I might have been one of those laughing and smiling on the bridge as it’s comical how bad we are. We're a million miles away in terms of quality, fitness, hunger, professionalism, pride to each and every side we face. I just can’t understand how we’ve ended up with a squad like ours.

I really don’t let it affect me anymore. What’s the point in ruining your weekend over that shit?

I also left after their 3rd. I agree, our soppy fans do nothing. No protests, just a load of people tutting in amongst a load of us smiling and sighing. We managed to get a few of us singing Martin out a few months ago, but that's as far as it went. Now we have an even worse manager with the same terrible owners. We are treated like utter sh!t and that's because our daft fans accept it.

Sport Republic OUT.

Yes, but if a restaurant kept serving slops for £30 each and the customers keep coming, keep paying, without any complaints, they would carrying on serving slops, making an absolute fortune. Our fans just don't see it. There are still fans clapping at the end and there are no protests whatsoever. So we are getting what is to be expected. If we accept this, keep paying and don't complain, the owners will clap their hands and keep taking the p!ss. Absolute basics.

And the plums who sarcastically cheered Smallbone when he came off, a player who is Southampton born and bred, what a bunch of idiots. Yet Sport Republic get off scot free.

I hear you.

But he never should have been in the side.

Where was Gronbaek?

He should never have been playing, but the real culprits of the mess we are in, seem to be getting away with the atrocious way they are running our club. Smallbone is a Southampton lad, a young player, he has a good attitude and got treated badly by the fans. The older men destroying our club are sat there getting no abuse whatsoever.

And good question where was our new player? Don't tell me, he is injured.

Technically he's a northerner as he was born in Basingstoke not Southampton.

Other than Ramsdale, I am struggling to find any recent signing that has held down a regular place in the first 11. This is a sad indictment of our transfer dealings.

As for Smallbone, nice lad and all that, but he is just not good enough at this level (or championship) and would probably be best for all if he left in the summer.

Fernandes. But yes it’s been horrific and anyone responsible for scouting/ recruitment should be sacked

Yep. Agree on Fernandes. He's a talent that will be missed next year. If he goes, I wish him well. He is one player that gives 100%.

Saints are not alone in squandering money on transfers, although probably worse than most.

Ipswich have made some signings that haven't delivered (Other than Delap), many of their signings have been duds.or bench warmers e.g. Szmodics, Jack Clarke, Kalvin Philips and Muric (who makes McCarthy look world class). I also recall some on here suggesting Ipswich got ahead of Saints, and we should have signed these !

Other crap signings that cost a fortune, include; Fullkrug, Nketiah, Dewsbury-Hall, Sander Berge.

Looks like we have gone back to the old days of just viewing an edited DVD, and making a decision on whether to sign a player.

I'll ignore all the Man U signings, as we will be here for ages.
