Swans man to watch

Andre Ayew

Andre is back in the goals

Andre Ayew on Forest
“The next game will be a hard one,” said the 31-year-old. “We know there's 19 games left and so many points. “It's a marathon and we need to keep going to the end. The team who is going to be strong mentally and physically will be able to do something great. “But with so many games to play, I think it’s important that we only look at the next game. And we will do that for the rest of the season. “We are doing good but we won’t get carried away. We must keep working and work harder because we've got 19 games left and there are a lot of points to play for and get before we can think about anything.”

Forest man to watch

Joe Worrall

Defender Worrall is catching the eye of numerous premier league sides including gravelly voiced Burnley. He has only enjoyed being one of the first on the team sheet last and this season. Before that he was on loan at Glasgow Rangers and Dagenham & Redbridge where he scored his last competitive goal. Worrall is from a place called Hucknall.

That's the stuff title winning sides are made of lads. How many times have you seen Manure do that? We just keep grinding out results.

And Brentford lost too. Excellent. Might take a little wander onto their forum shortly...

Got out of jail there but what a brilliant goal by Connor Roberts.
Great to see the celebrations and team spirit at the end

Any neutral witnessing that match will be dumbfounded as to how Swansea City are promotion challengers. Dire performance resulting in winning goal 3 minutes from time.
I’ve registered the 3 points and blotted the performance from my mind entirely. At least 2 or 3 of our players need a rest on Saturday.

How on earth did we win that. As said winning like that and QPR are massive and can hopefully get in to the Brentford players heads a bit so they drop some more points.

Fair play to Jordan Morris, I thought he made a difference when he came on, Arriola did ok, think he was trying hard to impress, both look good additions.

Pretty gash performance overall, but a fabulous three points.

It's in our own hands, which is all we can ask for. Hopefully that's the last sub par display for a while as we've got some very winnable games coming up.

Rusty. Not played a league game for 2 weeks. It means we’ll be much more in tune up at Huddersfield . A most satisfying win given we looked like we’d never score. Anyone got a link to Brentford’s message board??

We never looked like losing, but a sign of a winning team is that Roberts goal.
Be happy.

Not sure about that Keith I thought they were going to win it at the end. It just felt like one of those late 1 zip losses.

You can’t help but start to believe after winning games like that.

Ooofff not sure about that!

Dunno how Grabbans shot across goal stayed out, and how they messed up a 3 on 1 break in the second half.

Tremendous result, Roberts just incredible.

Easy.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Actually, I've just thought about it and decided I want to clarify just how good a win that really was. They've lost what, 1 in 12? Bournemouth only managed a 0-0 draw with them the other day.

And despite being completely off the boil, we still saw them off. That really is the stuff automatic promotion material are made of.

Well I was a nervous wreck for the whole 90 mins. Team seemed edgy. Was convinced we'd lose or at best draw.

Gutted at how wrong I was.

I said any neutral watching that would find it hard to believe Swans were promotion challengers.

What is there to disagree with? I was talking about tonight’s game only.

And you come out with “ With the greatest respect you haven't been watching football for long, ...”

If you knew how long you’d feel a bit foolish!

I thought our goal was coming for the last ten minutes and though Forest looked better for most of the game didnt really look like scoring.

One of them is convinced they'll only make playoffs because either us or Watford will do them for 2nd.

You love to see it
