Framed photo of the Vetch and Liberty

Firstly, happy new year all. Hope everyone is well, and we have a good year ahead of us, on and off the field!

I’m trying to get a room up together for when I WFH. In the club shop a few years ago, they had a nice framed picture of the Vetch and Liberty (.com!) and was looking to get one, or similar for the room. Anyone know where I could get one….I’ve done a search on internet, Etsy and the like have a single frame of each, but not together.

Bristol City away - sold out?

Looks to be sold out, any idea if we will get more tickets? I know capacity was reduced for this game based on the trouble about 4 years ago. Thanks

Reading away

Good evening, currently no tickets available on the site for Reading game. So presume our allocation is sold out. Was on hold to ticket office for 45 mins today before having to go to a meeting. Anyone know if we are getting an extra allocation? Thanks

Swans TV - anyone else with issues

Today’s game I was only able to watch about 15 minutes up to the 60th, seeing 2 goals, then just gave up. It kept freezing on WiFi, so went through my 4G then that kept freezing. I got in touch with them, they said to make sure using an up to date phone and not chrome. The phone I was streaming through is brand new. I won’t be bothering with them again and will try internet streams.

Ref Darren Drysdale - squares up to Ipswich player

Anyone else see this? It’s on the bbc, the still photo shows it. But looking at it in normal time doesn’t look so bad.

Not sure what the player said and it is probably the correct thing to say that in his position he shouldn’t have done it. But players may think twice about gobbing off at him. Then again, I’d like to see refs sending off for dissent more than they do.

I hope nothing is done about it and he is allowed to get on with refereeing.

Issue with bookie -

Also put on new site. Evening fellow Jacks, got an issue with a bookie (which I have had before) in a bet on a game I was playing over 2.5 on goals and received a notification that a 3rd goal had been scored and it allowed me to cash out at full bet value. The goal under VAR was then disallowed.

Now I know the bookie claim this is wrongly settled, and therefore will reverse, citing their Ts&Cs.

However under contract law offer and acceptance, they have offered me the cash out and I have Accepted the value. I have also used the cash to place a subsequent bet.

any learned fans got a view on this. I think these bookies need to look at their practices in light of VAR.

Footballers Pay

Listening to BBC breakfast news, Tottenham and Newcastle have entered government payment schemes for non playing staff. Players still earning full wage. There is a meeting today of the PL and FL clubs to discuss.

Barcelona players reported to have taken up to 70% pay cut to fund non-playing staff. Juventus deferred players wages by 4 months.

Hopefully common sense and fairness will prevail today. However if the top leagues in England, Spain, Germany, Italy, France etc say OK we are going to drop all players wages by x% to fund non-Playing staff or clubs lower down their leagues, The players will continue to play when the season re-starts or new one starts. Otherwise where are they going to ply their trade?
