This morning I had peanut butter on toast with my breakfast coffee.

It was foul. Delicious separately. Disgusting together.

Any other combinations you've come across that should be fine but end up awful?

Reminds me of that ad about 25 years for Pizza Hut (I think). Bloke phones up for a take away delivery and the bloke in the pizza place says 'tuna fish and BANANA? ' Then you see the pizza being eaten by a pregnant woman. So I started making the same pizza. It was sensational. I also love fruit in curry like pineapple, banana , lychees....
