He clearly doesn't have a development policy nor a transfer strategy, that's what the club do. So that leaves us with his tactical ability, motivation and coaching as we see it on a matchday.
For me he is tactically niave at times but does display an ability to change thugs quickly when they are going wrong. I like him as a person from what I can gauge, and enjoy his increased understanding of English. I think he is average but average this season may well be best for us all round.
Will he last the season ?

The point is he made an error, he recognized it and he changed it and it worked. It may have worked if we could have played Mawson instead of Taylor and put Kingsley as WB.
It could work today but I suspect he will revert to 4-5-1 , hopefully put Borja up front with Llorente if we go behind at some latter stage | |

As long as he is our manager he has my support. But I wish he wasn't.
I think he's getting a lot of undeserved credit to be honest.
Positives - Fer, Kingsley, Barrow, West Ham away, changing things against Chelsea, obviously learning English (I think Kingsley and barrow could have been used more)
Negatives - The team that started against Chelsea, most performances last season (not results), 2 and half performances this season, lack of transfer activity, bonkers tactics, insane substitutions, doesn't seem to motivate players, boring football.
I have a lot of respect for him as a person from what I can see and perhaps he has been let down by the players available to him, but when I think every Swans fan could see obvious tactical improvements he's got to take his fair share of blame.

I thought he was very brave to start the way he did last Sunday mind and I thought the way he changed it and the fact we came out with an outstanding point was magnificent.
Just for the record I haven't been the one slagging him (or players) off since last Sunday because I appreciate the league we are in and how difficult it is to compete with teams like Chelsea.

I'm disappointed in him tbh. My own stupid fault as based on his past in Italy I thought we'd unearthed a tactical gem and motivator who would have us playing high-tempo attacking football in no time. We're better than we were, but his impact is less than I'd hoped. What we don't know though is how much of that is down to having his wings clipped by the club. |  | | |

So far another appalling Guido inspired performance. It's heading towards 50% crap under him. Hands tied a little by kingsley injury but made other changes too late.

The players we have are better than that utter crud display. That's what's frustrating. Being shit with shit players is one thing. Today was another.
Also we have lost every single thing that made this club special. We are now just a scrubby little bottom end club waiting for the trapdoor to open, like Wigan before us. It's just a matter of which season it'll finally happen and the luck runs out or there aren't three worse teams. On that display I can't imagine three worse teams.
