Not trying to be negative, but i've never seen a player more limited to one side. Most players, right footed or left footed, can use their weaker foot if needed. honest question, has anyone ever seen pass with his right foot? |

bare with me here...
now some of you may have noticed that Oscar is about to be off to China for 60M. Oscar only has 1 year left on his contract, too. Huw NEEDS to know how much they are willing to pay for not world class players.
reports have stated that Ki is of interest to at least a couple of the super-rich Chinese clubs. Ki is a unique player because he is the darling of South Korea, has found success in the premier league, and has 2 years left on his contract.
it's not inconceivable that clubs could be willing to spend 20-30M for Ki. if that were to happen, the club would have a warchest for January. they could bring in a few players not quite in the bargain bin.
will Huw actually push a hard bargain here? now, that's the tricky part. but i think a big money move for Ki to China could really help to inject the club with players capable of keeping the team up.
am i wrong? |

some may have said new central defenders, but i'm of the opinion that bob needs to create a partnership with the players he has and stick with it.
i think a new creative player, most likely a wing who can cross the ball and a new right back.

i think this is #1 priority of the summer. he will have 2 years left on his contract, but he should be made the highest earner on the team. absolutely priceless player. the team should be built around him.

anyone think he's taken back his spot back from Naughton after today? looked leggy towards the end, but offered a threat going forward and linked up nicely in a way that Naughton hasn't in recent weeks.
he's lost a step, but still a very effective player and today was a good reminder of just how much he means.
it wasn't a perfect performance by any means, but he looked up for it and it would be nice to see him given starts more often. |

i honestly don't see how they buy another starting caliber player. hard to improve on this without spending huge amounts of money.
