Yeah I know but it's still more likely for a fatigued player to get injured, slow of body and mind and you don't get out of the way when maybe fit and sharp you might. It's not always about muscle pulls.

Who called him useless and lazy?
I have the reverse complaint about him, he tries to do too much, he needs to pass sooner, share the responsibility out.
I used to play football with a bloke who was very, very good. His biggest problem was he insisted on keeping the ball until a better option arose. Trouble was he usually ended up surrounded by 3/4 players and lost the ball. You can't wait for a guaranteed option, you have to take chances.
Ayew has turned down numerous passing chances and we can end up going backwards because of it. He's not being selfish, just trying to do too much. | |
