Terrible news RIP mate text me yesterday said the one young man worked in port talbot steel works he went back in by all accounts to try and rescue the others
A mate showed me a YouTube video of the dangers of swimming or any water activities near weirs.
Apologies if this link does not work but basically there is a certain area where the force of the water is so strong it will pull even the strongest swimmer down and it then acts like a spin of a washing machine. Impossible to escape it.

Ive been in a situation where a current always wiped me out. Wouldnt want to do it again.
Thankfully,no longer in a job that entails such risks.
