If we could clone Franco twice we’d have the best midfield in the championship bar none. When people continuously laud Grimes (though he was probably at his best yesterday) I wonder what the hell theyre looking at when next to him there’s a proper quality ball winner, ball player and midfield general all in one. |

I don't think we can have it both ways with him though? For me he is never an impact sub as he doesn't have enough in his locker to create something out of nothing.
I think he's got fitter and sharper and now getting involved more / scoring because he's getting a run of games and playing plenty of minutes. |
I don’t think he’s an impact sub. I just don’t think he’s ready to be a championship centre forward yet. He hasn’t had the luxury of being bedded in.
His fitness is improving, I’m not sure about his sharpness, he’s second to everything. I just don’t think he reads play very well yet.
He did for his goal in fairness. Initially I thought he should have bust a gut to get in front of the defender and take him out of the equation. Having watched it back though, it happens so quickly he didn’t have time. | | | |

We were 2-0 up with 10 minutes to go. We haven't conceded 2 goals in a league match all season. With another game on Tuesday Williams took a calculated risk that paid off. Personally I don't look for problems that are not there. Sometimes we over analyse games. |

We've already got the players to do better than we have been.
Yes, adding depth will be a big bonus, but there's no real excuses for the kind of misuse that we've witnessed so far this season. Williams waking the hell up to what he has is just as important as more acquisitions. |  |

No matter what some people say about williams, he's doing a fine job with tools at his disposal.
As I've said many times we need a paterson type attacking midfielder and another striker, get those two, get a few players back from injury, our bench won't weaken us in the second half as it normally has this season and we could go on a run
But no matter what the puppet said to the loyal at the service station, our squad will probably get weakened not strengthened in January, which is a damn shame as we are that close to being a really good team that could push for promotion. | | | |

We got on the front front from the start and quit faffing about .

The players are ( almost) there for us to have a decent season.
We need a striker for sure but can utilise what we have better but we are an unbalanced squad ,stupidly so.
We have employed yet another defender when we are parsimonious in attitude .Doesnt make sense .
This is a very mediocre league which is very very level apart from about a few clubs and even they aren’t exactly great .

Others are flourishing Eom, Key, Tymon, Franco for example. Bianchini and Vipotnik did well enough t offer encouragement of better times ahead.
