Lets get this straight, the Senedd have increased the profits on alcohol and the tax paid on those extra profits benefits people in England, where there is no minimum unit price with Wales getting the Barnett equivalent which will be less than the amount of extra unit price paid in Wales AND the thing this unit price was started for was to reduce alcohol problems but alcohol related deaths have hit a record high.....hmmm.
In other words thje Senedd's plan didn't work so yes, I expect them to double down and increase the minimum price. |  | | |
