I'm glad you have seen this at last. You have criticised Putin and Russia, rightly or wrongly, but this lot are far worse. It's just that we have been conditioned, propagandized, etc to believe that the US is for good, and can't do any wrong; land of the free, the leaders of the free world, the world's policemen and such other nonsense. It's becoming apparent to many that they are the real problem in the world today.

And in the uk. Q : How many current MPs have criminal records? In 2012, your published figure was 43%, but I cannot find more recent data. Response 😮 I can confirm that we do not hold information about the number of MPs convicted of criminal offences as MPs are not obliged to disclose this information to us. The information you have requested may be held by individual police forces. However, as the information you have asked for constitutes personal data it is likely to be exempt from disclosure under Data Protection law. Some information about the convictions of MPs while they were serving as MPs is published in the House of Commons research briefing, “Recall elections” (9 November 2021). The information in the research briefing covers the period from the introduction of the process in March 2016 to November 2021, and only covers MPs convicted during their term of office. Should you wish to ask individual MPs for the information then their contact details are available. Please note that Members of Parliament are not public authorities for the purposes of the Freedom of Information Act ("the Act"). This means that they are not obliged to respond to requests for information made under the Act. Similarly, the Act does not apply to political parties.

Trump win as top court deals blow to Jan 6 case ... on 21:54 - Sep 6 with 1450 views | DaPs166 | It’s clear that the felony convictions Trump has were from polically based ‘trumped up’ charges, that anyone else wouldn’t have been investigated for. The hypocrisy on this is staggering. The democrats moan about the Supreme Court having too many ‘conservatives justices’. Yet would have and will do the exact same, if not worse, given the choice. The democrats continually moan about violent rhetoric whilst saying to ‘punch people in the face for the children’’ etc. Trump was nearly assassinated and they’re still using disgusting, violent rhetoric against him. This is typical American political discourse nowadays. Something has to give to improve it on every side. If a near assassination can’t, nor can a storming of the capitol building, then what can?

Normal for a huge company. Do you think Trump was going around handing every one checks? Have a look into any of those cases first to see why they weren’t paid etc and don’t just believe everything you read without question. Second link doesn’t work.

So because a hit piece on a news website says he’s grifted, that means he has? It’s completely normal for politicians to fund raise. Under your rules that would make every politician a grifter. Ffs, sometimes I want to cry when people are so brainwashed by article titles, they don’t even read the main body of the article, or think critically about it whatsoever. Do better ffs it’s embarassing.

Reading the article critically? Okay. It’s an NYT article so you know it’s going to have a strong left wing bias and it has a history of being very anti-trump. Then look at whether it’s an Op-Ed or made out to be an investigative piece and who the journalist is to make a judgement about both tone and what you expect the level of sensationalism will be. Read it and distinguish between fact and opinion. In this article, I’d say that the key point is where the money is going (the aggressive fundraising is neither here nor there) suggests ‘grifting’. This is underlined by the comparison to the con that was Trump university. Did you read it differently? Not saying I’m completely right btw. [Post edited 10 Sep 9:18]

A shorter reply from me compared to the original as it got lost with poor Internet...anyhow. The article itself references the fact that a large chunk of the money raised goes to a super PAC and these funds he can use for any purpose he wishes...coke, blackjack, hookers, his court cases, you name it. He could have put the money into the RNC campaign PAC. He has also previously put out requests for funds and these monies went to his Super PAC. When he was President he put up visiting dignitaries in his hotels, and no he didn't foot the bill. The same with his Secret Service detachment, they were charged at full rate. It's his pattern of behaviours which highlights the fact that he is a grifter and all your whargarbl is not going to hide the fact
