Watford v Swansea City : Match day thread 10:56 - Mar 3 with 13379 viewsModeratorC

Earlier on this season Watford won 1-0 at the Swansea.Com with a smash and grab goal well against the run of player. This time …..

The team that keeps on sacking v The Swans this Wednesday 4th Mar 2024 08:00
It has been a harsh three months or so for Watford, they last won at home on the 27th November last year beating Norwich City 3-2. However, that shouldn’t take away from some really decent results on the road. 0

At last it’s a chance for the Swans to fly ! Plus full Championship round up 6th Mar 2024 08:00
Swansea City head to Vicarage Road tonight after a long trip yesterday to a training location pre match. Buoyed by two excellent wins away at Sunderland and home to Blackburn on Saturday the Swans should be full of confidence for this game (KO:745pm) 0

Watford’s home form not good and our away form better than our home in many ways there’s only one way this game is going!

🥴

Cut out defending-by-attacking might make it a less stressful night.

I’m thinking of travelling from/to South Wales with the option of possibly staying one night.

Anyone got advice on the best way to do it?

Thank you in advance

Previously stayed at the White House in Watford which is a best western. Think it was about a 20 min walk to the ground. Was not far from town centre but was quiet and had parking. Just looked it about £90 a room.

As the other bottom teams have started picking up points, this is going to be another must win in my book. Whilst we are that 4 points or so clear the confidence is there. If we get dragged down within 1 point of relegation, the pressure will be on and I don't think the team as a whole will cope with that.

Yes, we have the bottom teams to play, but relegation threatened teams can, for different reasons, be as difficult to play against as the top teams.

Harder surely.
They will be fighting for their lives
are we prepared to do that.
Is Williams prepared to compromise his style / plan/ process to ensure we stay up.
It’s getting very very tight

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not

We need to improve on our performance against Blackburn, if that's as good as we can produce then we are in deep trouble .

Darling's discipline not great. And Yates showed he can't defend as well as can't score. However, we look streets ahead of them. Get 2 more this half then cruise.

One more and win 2-1 would be fine.

Pato needs to be pulled, not in it tonight.

Ronald not overly effective either.

Neat and tidy though but mustn’t over do it.
