Swansea City v Norwich City : Match day thread 20:14 - Sep 30 with 8758 views | ModeratorC | Norwich City at home. A club from the eastern part of Anglia where Tiswas was made. Expectations are high this week at Swansea City 2nd Oct 2023 08:30Norwich City are the next visitors to the Swansea.Com and it all kicks off at 7.45pm this Wednesday. The bonus of these games for fans finding it difficult to make it to the match itself is that this fixture is on the Sky Sports Red button. How very decent of them. 0

Norwich had more pace than any side I have seen for quite a while. Duff is proving me wrong and long may it continue. Win Saturday and we will be nicely placed in mid table going into the international break.

Still no news on how much he cost us? Particularly any sell on.

Did Josh for the Norwich goal over commit himself forward similar to the way Manning was liable to do and did we just not cover him properly, will have to watch the highlights. Did notice that being so far forward and wouldn't be able to get back he didn't try and use his pace to get back saving himself for the next Norwich attack where he did use his pace to make a difference, a player with experience and knowledge to use his skills wisely.

They were a good side. I actually thought we showed a bit of resilience to hang on when they were on top for a sustained period in the second half, then come back and have decent spell of our own until we scored. We did ride our luck a bit, but I was impressed tonight.

I belive he did , strolling back after the move forward brokedown, although up to that point I thought most of their threat came from our left side .

Thought they tried to isolate Key and even tried doubling up on him early on especially given Cullen as a forward would be looking to press on. That came unstuck with the early goal. For the most part we got the covering of players right, was quite impressed with Lowe's tracking back on our left if not a little worried he might be lost when he got the ball there. Overall a good night's work as Norwich tried to press our much quicker play at the back but they left quite big gaps in the middle having at times 6 players in that press, which I think we couldn't find our players in maybe our players had pushed forward from the midfield a little early. I might be being a bit picky though as the shape and play was good. Thought Cabango played very well even tracking their forwards quite high up the park to good effect, was concerned about our shape when he went off but Humphrey's move to the middle and Tymon on the left didn't seem to effect us badly. Hope given Cabango's previous ankle injuries he will be OK. Nice, deserved and well earned 3 points. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

It was right in front of me he seemed to blow up and have nothing there to get back, it happens sometimes. We had pressed but not in the numbers needed and got caught out, again it will happen but won't always result in a goal.

I was the same as you. Norwich were impressive but I thought we stood up well, rode our luck a couple of times but then scored when it mattered. I’ve been critical of Duff over his comments but give him his due I prefer the actions on the pitch last night rather than his previous comments in the press. Hopefully we can build on that success.

I thought Key was superb last night and put in a big shift as did most of the players fair play. My only concern is that if we allow Key to push on then we have to be more disiplined with the holding CM covering.
