Football aside, one of the biggest stories of the day concerns our esteemed ex chancellor and current Chairman of the Conservative Party and the requirement for him to pay around £5m in back tax and a penalty. His penalty was allegedly set at the highest point of the “careless” range of 30% and allegedly amounts to £1.1m. Some news streams are giving this story prominent cveragevwhile others aren’t. The question is should he be allowed to remain in government or should he resign/be sacked?

The next election is an open goal for Labour.

Surely even they can't blow this opportunity

Apart from Heath and Callaghan s fetid administrations ,the last three seem the worst on my lifetime .
I could not possibly vote Conservative next time .
Where they went wrong was losing decent folk like Ruth Davidson and Rory Stewart . Davidson would have been very acceptable to many

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not

Don’t be too dismissive. There are still people out there that have bought into the ideology that because they or their parents own their council house and able to go to Benidorm for a fortnight has made them middle class.

There are also people who have come from a humble back ground worked their bollocks off & now own their own home & enjoy a couple of holidays a year.

Not sure why people who bought their council house & holiday in Benidorm shouldn’t vote Tory anyway, are you dissing these people?

Well you would be voting for a rabid English nationalist party that has got rid of the good guys and become so corrupt it has eaten itself.

I hope they never ever see power again.
Plus jail time for the criminal Brexit loving traitors amongst them.

The latest polling shows the Tories will get absolutely smashed at the next election. Good news.

I have mentioned many times your opinion on anything doesn’t matter to me but you insist on responding.

Pretty obvious you are a low life with nothing going on in your sad life full of hate.

I’d suggest you try to remember this chum.

Have they put you in charge of writing the Tory election leaflets lol?

Tbf you insulting other posters is about as rigorous defence as this government could muster. Lord knows they can’t point to many policy successes over the last 12 years.

In the wake of yet another Tory scandal where weak Rishi sh*t the bed, why on Earth are you voting Tory. What have they done to make your life better?

Who said I’m voting Tory? I vote for the party who are best for my family at the time of GE.

The post to the forum idiot was a general one to remind him that I won’t respond to him, IRA loving British hating poster’s deserve all they get.

Re read my post & you will find the answer.

2 years can be a long time in politics unless it’s a Welsh election of course.

I’m shy about nothing butt.

If the tories are best for me & more importantly my working kids & my grandkids then I’ll vote for them.

Unfortunately living in Wales because peoples grandparents voted labour people feel they have too.

Ok if there was an election tomorrow who would you vote for? If you want what’s best for you and your family you can’t square that with voting Tory.

There is not an election tomorrow so it’s irrelevant.

If there was a Welsh election I certainly wouldn’t vote for Labour who are anti business & prosperity.

Good to see someone standin* up to political bullying .
It’s what the left seem to do
Disagree with them and they toile in
Bevan a legendary figure impossible to criticise in south Wales .
He was a class warrior.
We don’t need people urgin* people to stay humble, poor, uneducated or underprivileged but these people do . They rely on the poor to put them into power.
It’s why they use offensive terms like working class and middle class.

We need to reboot our society whereby nobody is feeling inferior to anyone because they lack wealth .

We see decent folk who might vote Conservative referred to as scum and yet it’s ok .because they are Tory.

We also see IRA supporters urging British people to be rebels .

So you’ll give your ignorant opinion on the hypothetical Welsh election but not on a hypothetical Westminster one. If you were an informed voter with pro business and prosperity values, the Tories would be the last party you’d be voting for but that’s about the level of cognitive dissonance you need to be a Tory voter these days.

You won’t justify your Tory vote because it’s you know it can’t be justified. It’s fine pal. You’re just a shy Tory who votes for them because they let you feel good about sneering at your neighbours and contemporaries. There are loads like you in the country.

Both far wings of the parties aren’t pleasant. The far right tend to be xenophobic racists and the far left of the Labour Party are equally crazy. By far an away the Coybyn Cult are Labour’s biggest threat. I’m far more inclined to the Labour Party despite the Tories probably being better financially for me but i could never vote for them.

Listening to the likes of Raynor, and Nandy on James o Brien’s full disclosure, I’ve far more in common with them than the Tory MPs. Raynor from Stockport, very hard background. Far more equipped to knowing what normal people are like

Labour will almost certainly win the next election, and the SNP may find they’ll struggle in Scotland as a big part of their campaign is Labour couldn’t win an election. They now can.

I’m not the ‘all Tories all bad’ group. My MP is one and a decent guy but every party self implodes. This one is doing just that
