Blackpool v Swansea City : Matchday Thread 21/22 02:59 - Mar 9 with 10431 views | NotLoyal | Swansea welcome back players for their Blackpool trip this weekend 9th Mar 2022 22:39Despite ( as it stands ) the omission of Ryan Manning after his sending off on Tuesday night the swans will have two players returning to the fold for the trip to Blackpool on Saturday. Approximately 1,650 Swansea City fans are expected to be in attendance with Russell Martin once again finding himself in recovery mode after yet another heavy defeat. 0 Good and bad news for Russell Martin before Blackpool away 11th Mar 2022 13:46Proving once again he’s a hard man to read, an d that’s putting it mildly Russell Martin has revealed this morning that Nathanael Ogbeta will be in the squad for tomorrow’s game at Bloomfield Road, Blackpool. However, his inclusion looks like it’s merely about gaining some experience of being in a match day squad, so the best he can hope for is a sub appearance. 0 Swansea City sleep walk their way to another defeat at Blackpool 12th Mar 2022 17:29A traditional start for Swansea City resulted in an early Gary Madine goal for Blackpool after some blatant fouling in the swans penalty area. Such is the luck of the swans at present the referee decided to ignore the infringements which freed up Madine to head home. The real issue for the swans in that defensive passage was once again their lack of awareness and concentration. Again sleeping when they should have been really alert. 0

Blackpool v Swansea City : Matchday Thread 21/22 on 18:37 - Mar 12 with 1477 views | Catullus | I waited before commenting. I looked at the stats. I listened to the pundits remarks. It seems we had another false dawn a short while back. We tried something a bit better, it worked so we stopped doing it. It makes no sense. The chances we had to try passing to Piroe but were ignored, that has been a habit. he makes good runs, gets into good positions and our midfield ignores him. Team selection today was a puzzle too. The Blackpool manager did a good job, he got his tactics spot on but our manager was clueless what to do to counter that besides keep possession. 76% possession but only one attempt on goal. I haven't seen a full set of stats but will they say we spent most of our possession in the middle third or our third? Today for the first time my son made noises about supporting another team, not instead of but as well as. In his words, all my mates support a big team too, I can understand why! Maybe it's time to realise that Martin is damaging us in ways we may not have thought about. He's thinking West Ham.

Blackpool v Swansea City : Matchday Thread 21/22 on 18:39 - Mar 12 with 1465 views | Sirjohnalot | Just got back home. God, that was awful, second half a bit better but it was dire. Two poor teams, but Blackpool should’ve stuffed us, we were lucky not to be down to 10 men in the first half. Great support but a really weird, nasty atmosphere between the two sets of fans from the outset. Really aggressive, it may have been because I was surrounded by young lads, maybe around 19yr old who’s primary objective seemed to me shouting and swearing at the Blackpool fans and arming themselves with coins to throw. They were also using the most disgusting sexual language towards a really pleasant female steward. Finally, what is it with flares recently ? Throwing lit flares onto the pitch is pathetic. I saw two. We really don’t want to become known as that type of team. Really didn’t enjoy that, the football or the idiots around me.

Society has gone to the dogs John, it isn't like it was before, these days it's a precious and senseless selfishness that is the norm. But join us in nottingham. Don't let it put you off.

That's precisely the point UJ. Even the hypocritical sheeple are conspicuous in their absence. The likes of Winstone (who constantly lambasts the rational thinkers for their absence when we win or draw) are as Silent as Lambs. There is no defence any more for this 16th placed losing brand Martin - hence the dumb silence from the ranks of the twps, still.

Busy catching up on my sleep after early start. Farke off with you sheepie nonsense will you ? No one can make excuses for today. Plenty of possession, no penetration, on effort on goal. Blackpool weren't great but could have scored three or more. Their fans and stewards were excellent. Need to shape up for Wednesday

I can list a load of reasons and all have been discussed on here, not least the pandemic and young people suffering the most at a vital time in their lives. I doubt if the rubbish football has caused it!

Many in the post-war generations have come to glorify that period of history as something to aspire to, rather than the worst that things can get. [Post edited 12 Mar 2022 19:37]

Rus got some front though. That said,he clearly has some fan in his pocket. It's really worrying Are we happy with anyone who comes over and claps us.I 'd rather win and the manager ignore us ,go down the tunnel and have a cup of tea, then get back on the coach. This is monstrous disinegnuous crap and we are swallowing it wholesale.
