Because the vast majority of the 52% who voted out are racist, xenophobic, knuckle dragger's (your words).
I believe racism is abhorrent and a stain on our species but I voted out.
You can't throw 17 million people into the same box. If it was simply an issue of race then the bnp or ukip would have got 17 million votes in the general election. They didn't.
The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Then you're one of the minority then.

This is of course true enough just as it is to say that some out voters voted that way to stop the 'bloody foreigners'

Completely agree. Unfortunately 52% of the country fall in to that bulb category.
There's a lot to dislike about the Neoliberal behemoth that is the EU. The leave campaign did seem orchestrated by Project Fear but I don't think you can generalise to that extent

Ukip had 3.8 million votes in 2015.
The Bnp got nearly 1 million in a recent national election.
What is it with you lot with name calling, Racist, xenophobic, knuckle draggers, great unwashed, dullards to name but a few, and now "bulb".
I was a Euro sceptic before the referendum, as were many many others, the stay campaigners failed to convince me otherwise, so I voted accordingly, as did the majority of the UK in a democratic ballot, I'll refrain from name calling, but would respectfully suggest that some people should look into a mirror before resorting to name calling.
They're thick mate.. they're being monitored for actually protesting against democracy.. well educated my a*se..
For two years.. A monitoring exercise will begin.. then the fun begins.. Jeremy Corbyn is so hapless.. Labour will not exist in 2 years..
The UK fought and died for democracy.. yet people don't want it.

The Swansea Way.. To upset the odds.
What about those who believed Cameron, osbourne, geldof and the biggest cwnt of them all: Tony Blair?
Xactly. Cameron said he would trigger article 50 the day after a Leave vote. He didn't. Osborne said he would have to have an emergency budget. He didn't. The Brexiters weren't the only liars out there.

Britain has a representative democracy, we don't have a direct democracy. Our elected reps make the decisions not the people, otherwise we have mob rule by the masses. The Referendum has nothing to do with British democracy at all, just a popularist vote. It shouldn't be allowed to stand and must be debated and voted upon in parliament

But if the result had been the other way around you wouldn't be saying that you silly hypocrite.

Then why did those apparently democratically elected call for it? Was in their manifesto wasn't it?

Of course there is certainly that element but there's no evidence to suggest it's a majority or even a sizeable number.
The fact that ukip won the European election but didn't do as well in the general election suggests a deep rooted euroscepticism in this country that goes a lot deeper than "kick them out".
