Hope we buy him cos he is quality player suited to our style and he likes to get forward as often as poss,monk reckons emnes should get fit,but fitness comes with playing and if he not on pitch then he wont get match fit,wasnt played enuf last season for me. | | | |

Ronaldo is a quality player, as is Messi and Bale. Emnes is okay. He's too unfit to play 90 minutes and was struggling in the second tier of English football a few months ago.
I'd be happy to see him as our 4th choice winger but let's not get silly. |  |

Ronaldo is a quality player, as is Messi and Bale. Emnes is okay. He's too unfit to play 90 minutes and was struggling in the second tier of English football a few months ago.

I'd be happy to see him a Swan permanently.
If we've learned anything in the past ten years, it's that very often players who can't make it on teams with certain styles of play come here and excel.
Emnes was here on two loan spells and did noticeably well both times. Permanence here will let him continue that success, only better.

Dwight, really? ... People mean quality in terms of .... Swansea quality, they are not drawing the big comparisons.
Other than that, Emnes seems okay to me which is enough, we could do worse ... but I am a dane, I often settle for mediocricy. Dont underestimate that though, a team with mediocre players can often reach far if only given the right guidance. |  |

Yeah I couldn't believe that a swans player has actually won a penalty at the end of the newcastle game.
In defense of Marv, he didn't try and "win" the penalty against Villa. He was flattened from behind in mid air. I think even Bony would have gone down under that one. |  | | |

I said I would be happy to see him as our 4th choice winger. I think we need someone who can / will challenge Wayne and Nathan for the starting spots when they are playing poorly. Last season we relied on Lamah or moving JDG to the wing instead which was very poor. | |

Fourth choice winger at a top 12 Premier League club after years of struggling in the second tier seems very complimentary to me.
And since our improvement in terms of results in the final games of the season, I will hold off on any further judgement regarding Monk. I don't rate him currently, no. He's been a manager for 1/3 of a season, during that time his record wasn't magnificent. How anyone can say they rate him after 5 wins in 17 games confuses me. He hasn't done dreadful, but it wasn't brilliant. Let's see how he does next season. | |
