Development squad travel to Witton tonight
County's development squad take on Witton Albion this evening as a way of saying thank you to the Wincham Park side for allowing us to use their ground for a pre-season friendly. County agreed to play the game after Witton allowed us to use their ground for the July friendly against Inverness Caledonian Thistle which we lost 1-0.
County's official site says that Alan Lord takes his 'development' squad to Wincham Park for the game against the The Evo-Stik League First Division North side although it is likely that any first team players who didn't feature in last nights League Cup match against Preston North End will also feature. The team could include the likes of Adam Griffin, Matty Mainwaring and James Vincent as none of them played last night as we lost 5-0.
Kick-off is at 7.45pm and ticket prices are £5 for adults, £3 for concessions (including over-65s). Anyone under the age of 14 can gain access free of charge.

Swansea City ready to increase misery on Pompey ? The last time Portsmouth played was on November 9th. That day they beat Preston 3-1. Bearing in mind that came before the International break and some twenty one days ago tomorrow they certainly do come into this game fresh.
Swansea City turn the tables on their bad luck & beat Derby I am going to make no apologies for this match report. The win was deserved, but how it came about after so many poor performances in the second half I will never know. I haven’t been watching football as long as some and I am delighted of course the Swans got the points. However, we have seen teams do that to us for a few seasons. Just maybe for once it was our turn ?

Swansea City & Jason Levien : The crucial omissions Jason Levien has spoken to Wales On Line and we have briefly looked at some of his responses and statements as he and Steve Kaplan leave the club. It’s all a part of the leaving party, just as an invisible burning effigy floats over Mumbles heading towards the Atlantic.
