Swans 3 Rovers 0 : The game ,the head coaches, the goals and the joy !

Swansea City blazed a trail through the Blackburn Rovers defence yesterday afternoon. Alan Sheehan plotted a more ruthless Swans first eleven and the game never really looked in doubt.

Sheehan was delighted with the win and his humble nature came across so well post match.

Of course we won’t leave you with just a video, but have to congratulate Alan Sheehan for his vision and tactical awareness to bring about this result. It must have been frustrating watching Luke Williams meddle and make so many obvious mistakes with naive tactics as the Swans plummeted towards relegation. With some real time to work on matters before the next game at Preston on Tuesday March 4th. (7:45pm) Quickly after that it’s back to the Swansea.com for a home game on Saturday March 9th against Middlesbrough. (3pm) These will be the focus now for Sheehan.

Apparently Blackburn Rovers weren’t good enough to win the game according to interim boss David Lowe. And after watching the second Swansea goal and the clear fouling on Vipotnik before the second goal was scored Lowe talked about a free kick for his side. A very odd point of view. Do you know he says ‘dust ourselves down’ in this interview five times !

You can sit back and watch the game this morning, it’s worth noting how close the players are in a more tighter midfield. How they galvanise their moves spreading the ball out to the wings far more quicker than we have seen this year. It’s hard to believe that Luke Williams last win at home as a Swansea manager was against Luton Town before the end of December. If you had said that then people would have openly laughed at you. And that before his bizarre press comments throughout January. We’ve been there too many times, but there’s nothing more concerning than a manager playing mind games in a spotlight of a whole country when there’s far wiser people watching him. He may have gotten away with it in a county with several club sides featured within it. But like many other managers we have seen at Swansea they don’t expect the spotlight countrywide regards what they say and how they say it. But it happens all the time.

Here’s the game.

However, it’s a bit of fun that VIP photo above, but it’s a pleasure to put it on this report.

Swans crush Blackburn : Was it just a coincidence ?
It was Swansea City’s day today, the shackles were off with the team slightly tweaked, and at last we saw what summer signing Vipotnik is all about. His changing of position with Liam Cullen aided a more fluent and thoughtful Swansea attack and couple that with Myles Peart-Harris at last stepping up all the ingredients were there for a win. And win the Swans did.

Swansea City : Go for number one, save time looking for second best
We had had a good look around the latest betting on the next Swansea City manager. Basically the bookies in this market are generally far off the mark when it comes to Swansea betting.
