West Bromwich Albion sources state Lukey’s agent was all over the club this week

Many West Bromwich Albion accounts have poured water over the spoon fed journalism we have heard over the last twenty four hours. Oddly, a few accounts stated there was nothing in this WBA story this week.

Then respected and very much aware West Brom accounts have openly stated that Luke’s official representatives have indeed been behind this weeks astonishing news. Luke has stated he knew nothing of these contacts and kept using ‘I’ and the like to reply to questions. The speak to my agent comment is unforgivable, and very amateurish, he should know that certain accounts do have access to the correct information, as do Swansea City behind the scenes. They work closely with agents weekly. That is to source players, clarify a players or managers situation, or just drop a few questions as to how the landscape on any subject matter that they need answers to. Based on that you can be rest assured Swans Chairman, Andrew Coleman knows exactly who has spoken to whom and when this week.

So, who are we dealing with ?

Fifty three year old Bobby Bowry Is a football ‘consultant’ at a company called Volenti, a pretty decent football agency. He is an ex footballer, primarily with Millwall. Along with Michael Drew and John Meads they are the main drivers for the agency. Drew is the CEO and head of the group who have linked in with Elite Management in recent times. They are very much behind Luke Williams business matters as well as Ryan Harley. We won’t dwell on this agency for too long, but they have been playing a similar game as per when Luke Williams left Notts County. These are all experienced agents, so we have to ask the question, did you go behind Luke’s back ? We don’t think they did, and the specific answers to questions for Luke today won’t be asked. So, all we know now is who these guys are who have brought the club into this melee this week. Do you genuinely believe all of this weeks news wasn’t known by Luke, and his agents just pottered away contacting another club without his knowledge. That’s an absurd belief.

Ex Wales international Iwan Roberts believes Luke has been too cute in his word art this week. Clearly accepting that Luke has been playing games. And states why.

We genuinely know Chairman, Andrew Coleman is furious, and we stand to be corrected bar any future disclosures this week. In fact it is now common knowledge. We also believe this uncertainty has affected Harry Darling’s decision making - and indeed of those players who Luke claimed were signed up before this disaster. The profile the club has had this week has been lowered and diluted by Luke Williams comments, and there’s still a few out there who genuinely believe he has done nothing wrong and his agents didn’t tell him what was going on.

How more crazy is this going get ?

Luke Williams faced the press this afternoon.

⚽️ Has Harry Darling been affected this week ? That could well be a part of things. I don’t know. I’m trying to leave Harry alone in that way and not add to the pressure. I did joke with him after the game, gesturing to him to sign but that was a bit of fun. I don’t know exactly where he is but he’s playing great on the pitch and there’s no question about their commitment. I hope we do enough together that he wants to remain here”

⚽️ What about the Swans fans reaction ? "So I apologise to anyone that felt I was showing a lack of commitment. I think my blase approach was more that I just felt it was ridiculous that anyone would even suggest it. My apologies, and I totally understand any frustration. I completely understand that”

Luke Williams still won’t admit his agents were busy all week touting him to West Bromwich Albion.

⚽️ On his meeting with Andrew Coleman as we reported yesterday : "It was a very short conversation. Very, very short. It was ‘what’s the crack .’ and I said ‘nothing’. So then we carried on talking about other things. It was a very brief conversation”

That conversation went on for longer than that Luke, as you well know.

⚽️ Let us not forget his quote when he was at Notts County. "And my whole life up until I arrived at Notts, I was a beggar. Then I became a chooser. And the people here, they made me a chooser. I will give everything I've got while I'm here and hopefully it will keep me being a chooser for a long time to come."

Well, start choosing your words better then Luke, because nobody believes in their right mind you didn’t know what your agents were up to. And if this becomes a constant we will prove it. And what Chairman says ‘What’s the crack’ and leaves it there, he has been furious all week. And you sir are on the brink.
