Swansea City full of confidence for this evenings game at Watford
This evening Alan Sheehan takes charge of his fourth game as Swansea City interim head coach against Watford at Vicarage Road (7:45pm) Sheehan is undefeated in the role and is fresh off another home win on the weekend against Middlesbrough.
Myles Peart-Harris has returned to Brentford his parent club and it is unlikely Swans fans will see him again this season. Another injury concern is Harry Darling who is being described as fifty/fifty for this fixture. Hannes Delcroix on loan from Burnley is able to step in but if Darlings issues continue to this weekend then Delcroix is unavailable to play. The Swans take on Burnley this Saturday at the Swansea.com (3pm)
He can’t play against his parent club.
On the Darling injury Sheehan as ever was philosophical when talking on Harry’s plight, "It's disappointing to lose any player, but we have to be adaptable. Sometimes we can get bogged down on what we don't have, but I prefer to look at it the other way. Hannes came in and did a good job” It isn’t looking clever this morning and if Harry needs a few more days for Burnley then common sense tells you that Hannes will come in with an eye on Saturday. Watford manager Tom Cleverley has his own issues, especially with regards to his team and their recent performances. "It's not a case of we lose confidence because in the last four games it's eight halves of football. I think we've been good for seven and I don't think one poor one should knock us off our stride. But it's been addressed, and we've gone through a process of making sure that doesn't happen again. We have to be on the right track but it just needs one big push more, so that'll start with Wednesday”
Well, if anything that’s positive … we think ?
We did an extensive report on this game on Monday, that’s below.
