Saints Not Afraid Of Sacking Russell Martin Even If They Have To Pay

Recent reports have suggested that Southampton have not dispensed with the services of Russell Martin due to the alleged £12 million compensation cost. However it is now suggested that this is not the case and that if they do lose faith they are willing to pay the price.

Latest update on Russell Martin's position at St Mary's has come from givemesport.com who are saying that although they believe that his job is safe at present, that the Southampton board will not hesitate should they feel that his time is up.

Money to be paid out in compensation is not going to be a factor in whether Martin stays or goes. But if results don't improve then the trigger will be pulled the Southampton board are said to be willing to spend this money if they feel they need to make a change.
