Leeds Leeds Leeds ! Yannick Bolasie signs for the swans

The Swans travel north to take on an inform Leeds Unites at Elland Road on Wednesday evening (KO: 7:45pm) There are more concerns about injuries after Saturday, and decreasing crowds at a rapid rate is most certainly an area the club needs to address with a home game coming up this Saturday Huddersfield Town.

The first problem has been the assessment today of Harrison Ashby who had a hamstring pull on Saturday afternoon, the outcome of his scans will be known on Tuesday. There is a slight possibility there’s a connected injury, but if not - once the injury is graded more will be known. It’s pretty unlikely he will be available for a while. Josh Key miraculously came on as a substitute on Saturday after Michael Duff stated the day before he wasn’t available. We are pretty certain his inclusion or otherwise is hardly worth misinformation, but whatever floats your boat. He could well be an immediate solution out on the right, but it feels a bit too soon, still, maybe the new wonder doctor can help with his magical powers !

That’s the early news for now but Yannick Bolasie has signed for the Swans as expected this afternoon, so he will be considered available Wednesday nights game. The club have released details as a’short term contract’ but haven’t stated for how long. This particular secret we will get an answer after a few calls today. It’s clear the club are trying it on to see where the gaps are in their ranks. They will have more success plugging the gaps on the Titanic.

We covered Yannick a few days ago below.

⚽️ Freebie on his way

We will have a full match day build up tomorrow.

Swansea City : Sorry Luke, but this simply isn’t working
The Swans failed to show up in the Welsh derby and made a mockery of the shirt they were wearing. ‘They may as well have spat on the badge’ was one comment as the fans left the ground. They were so angry, so annoyed and many now see little in Luke Williams remaining at the club. It was a pathetic attempt by a weak willed team to play a game of football.

Luke Williams : Where could he end up on Sunday ?
There’s not a lot going on transfer wise regards the Swans at least. No signings after seventeen days but we are seemingly determined to get players in. Plus there’s the derby tomorrow as well. To cap that off Luke is going scouting abroad.

Joe Low knock back number two will not deter the Swans
A second bid before this weekend’s dismal FA Cup game away at Southampton has been turned down by Wycombe. That bid was for centre back, Joe Low. It was common news a second bid was coming but now it seems a third will be needed.
Swansea City : Luke continues to make odd statements
The loss at Southampton in the FA Cup with what many Swansea City fans believe was an ill informed choice of squad is bringing matters to a head at Swansea City.
