BJB Day 51

The Little People Invade The House

Home > Story Index >Day 51 In The Big Jack Brother House

12.07.03 - 9.14am - The housemates are woken to an announcement from Big Jack Brother that with this being the penultimate week in the house, there will be a surprise each day between now and Wednesday. On each day, one housemate will be given an activity of their choice that the rest of the housemates must partake in to pass the days.
12.07.03 - 10.22am - After a relaxing breakfast of kippers, James Thomas is called to the diary room. Today will be the activity of his choice, he chooses for the housemates to be given a Subbuteo game and compete in a league over the course of the day.
12.07.03 - 11.17am - The subbuteo game has arrived and the first game up is James himself against Myra. Myra has sold forty seven season tickets for the league season (co-incidentally the number of spectators in the box!) and the crowd is in place for the big kick off. James spends most of the first half trying his specialty of lobbing the keeper from around 30 yards but is failing miserably. Myra has taken a surprise 2-0 lead although one of the goals has been hotly disputed by James as he believes that Myra was offside at the time. James however comes back into the game with two dodgy looking penalties. The game ends 2-2.
12.07.03 - 12.53pm - Second game up is Leigh against Leon. Leigh misses most of the first half as he is canvassing the 47 spectators for money and Leon roars into a 7-0 lead. However, the game is declared null and void half way through the second half when Leigh notices that Leon is playing himself instead of the subbuteo number 9 and the league committee concur that this is against the rules.
12.07.03 - 4.17pm - In the third round of matches, Jason is heavily beaten 5-1 by James but hampered severely by the fact that he has broken seven of his players.
12.07.03 - 5.32pm - Leon loses a game 3-1 to Myra but mainly because he is amazed that the subbuteo keeper is taller than he is. James threatens that if Leon doesn't play properly then he will stick a stick up his a se and use him as the keeper in future games.
12.07.03 - 6.17pm - The housemates have been playing subbuteo all afternoon. After three rounds of matches, Myra is the surprise leader with a win and two draws whilst Leon is bottom with three defeats. James and Leigh are still in contention for the league title but only if Myra slips up in her last game against Jason.
12.07.03 - 7.44pm - With the scores level in the game between Myra and Jason, Jason wins a last minute penalty. A scuffed shot still finds the back of the net when Myra's false teeth fall out and break her goalkeeper. With her defeat it is now between Leigh and James for the title and they will meet in the last game of the night.
12.07.03 - 8.19pm - Leon Britton is getting excited again. He has invited one of the women spectators back to his room later on. He believes that she will return with him as she hasn't said 'No' yet anyway.
12.07.03 - 9.27pm - In the final match of the night, Leigh and James are tied at 0-0 with just ten minutes left on the clock. James tries a defensive clearance which heads straight up in the air. As it hits the lightshade in the room, it bounces back down and over the keepers head into the goal. James has won the subbuteo league.
12.07.03 - 10.53pm - The subbuteo set is returned to the diary room and the housemates head to bed and wonder who will receive the activity tomorrow.
12.07.03 - 11.21pm - All of the housemates are now asleep and we open the invite again for you to vote for the person you want to see leave the house next week. Cast your votes using the form below.
