BJB Day 28

Big Jack Brother Provides A Treat For All

Home > Story Index >Day 28 In The Big Jack Brother House

19.06.03 - 10.03am - The housemates have enjoyed a breakfast of poached eggs on toast. Some of the eggs have alcohol in them from the chickens over indulgence yesterday and Leon Britton has a huge hangover from his consumption of wine gums last night.
19.06.03 - 11.04am - As promised last night, the housemates are seated on the sofa when Big Jack Brother calls one into the diary room to collect their latest treat. BJB has gift wrapped a book for each of them that they think will suit their individual personalities. Myra is first to open her book "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" With each book is a note which says why Big Jack Brother has provided this item. The note reads "Because you live with a group of men who provide for you and love you" She sits quietly and reads the book, tears slowly welling up in her eyes which nobody notices.
19.06.03 - 12.23pm - James Thomas is deep in concentration of his book "King Arthur and the Round Table" He announces to the rest of the group that from now on he would like to be known as 'Sir James The Deadly"
19.06.03 - 2.02pm - Leon's gift from BJB was 'Gullivers Travels" because Brobdingnag was the land of the giants just as the BJB house must be for Leon. To the rest of the housemates surprise Leon starts reading aloud from this section in a deep and booming voice.
19.06.03 - 2.47pm - Leigh and Peter are both busy reading their books. Leigh has a medieval handbook for princes entitled "The Prince" it is designed to teach princes how to govern effectively. Peter's book is much more simple "How to win friends and influence people" Peter though tires of his book (he would have preferred "How to make a million on the internet") and offers to rent it to Leigh on a monthly basis.
19.06.03 - 5.04pm - Nick Rees is far from pleased. When he opened his parcel it said that BJB thought that he would enjoy "Beers, Wines and Vodkas of the Central Steppes" He was most disappointed when he realised that this was a book rather than the real thing.
19.06.03 - 6.08pm - The housemates are convinced that Jason Smith is reading a pornographic book. He is engrossed in what he has been given and keeps nodding smiling and generally looking quite 'impressed' with what he is reading. Nick snatches the book from him and sees that it is entitled "The Anatomy of the Human Body"
19.06.03 - 6.14pm - John Williams has impressed the group by staying up all through his book - "Rip Van Winkle" As he has read the book he has muttered several times "yes" and "I understand" He puts the book down and exclaims that he has connected with the book like nothing he has ever read before. Eventually he falls asleep muttering "2023, 2023, 2023"
19.06.03 - 8.09pm - Steve Watkin is reading his book on Welsh legends entitled "The Mabinogion of Wales" However, after twenty minutes he throws the book at the table (naturally missing) with disgust and a shout of "I'm not bloody in there"
19.06.03 - 11.42pm - The housemates have spent most of the day reading. Tomorrow, another one will disappear from their number with the fourth eviction. The choice on who goes is down to you and you have one last chance to cast your votes by clicking on the link below
