BJB Day 26

Cycling Co-Ordination and Television Programmes

Home > Story Index >Day 26 In The Big Jack Brother House

17.06.03 - 9.04am - With just over 24 hours left to complete the weekly task, Leon Britton is in the garden trying to learn to ride his bike. It seems to be going well until he falls off after just twenty yards due to an errant stone left on the BJB garden.
17.06.03 - 11.12am - The housemates are sat round on the sofa discussing the outside world. Myra is wondering how the season ticket sales are progressing without her whilst Leigh is wondering who is counting all the monies from the endless bucket collections that the trust will be undertaking. John Williams is hoping that his bed had not been stolen whilst Jason Smith is hoping that his physiotherapist will still be in business when he gets out.
17.06.03 - 12.43pm - There is a breakthrough on the cycling task. Leon has discovered that his powers of balance are better if he sticks hi tongue out whilst cycling. He manages to complete almost a lap of the garden before he falls over the electricity cable that Peter Owen re-routed during last week's task.
17.06.03 - 2.01pm - Three of the housemates - Leigh Dineen, Jason Smith and John Williams are asleep. The remaining housemates sit on the sofas discussing the various failings of the other three. Jason is severely criticised for his injury prone-ness whilst John is naturally criticised for his laziness. Leigh on the other hand they decide is a modern day Robin Hood in that he takes from the rich (the fans) and gives to the poor (the football club)
17.06.03 - 4.44pm - Leon's tongue out technique is working wonders and the housemates are looking good to pass this week's task. However, the housemates receive a bit of a setback when a bee stings Leon's tongue. "Noth to wooryth" says Leon "Im surth it willth beth betteth tomorroth"
17.06.03 - 7.02pm - Conversation again turns to the outside world as the housemates realise that it is 26 days since they have watched any television. They discuss their favourite programmes that they are missing. Jason Smith is missing Casualty and Holby City quite badly and hopes that his wife is recording it for him while he is away. James Thomas reveals that he loves watching previous runs of the Paul Daniels magic show on UK Gold as he is a great fan of any kind of hat-trick.
17.06.03 - 7.22pm - Steve Watkin reveals that he isn't into television programmes and prefers old war films 'as everyone as it in for the gunners' whilst Nick's favourite programme he advises is the Russian version of Food & Drink.
17.06.03 - 7.31pm - Peter Owen reveals that he always watches the Money Programme during his lunchbreak whilst Leigh Dineen is a massive fan of Question Time which was where he got the idea for the fans forums from. John Williams on the other hand loves changing rooms but only when it has something to do with bedrooms. He also reveals that he is a fan of the Ground Force crew as they put up a mean hammock!
17.06.03 - 7.33pm - Shortly after Myra reveals that her favourite programme was On The Buses as Blakey gave out a 'mean ticket' the attention turns to Leon and the housemates wonder what his favourite childrens programme is. They are somewhat shocked when he announces that it is East Enders but surprise soon turns to agreement when they realise that it reminds him of home.
17.06.03 - 11.59pm - All of the housemates are in bed and less than 72 hours from the next eviction from the house. Who do you want to see leave the house this week - vote at the link below
