BJB Day 16

Random Food Cooking In The House

Home > Story Index >Day 16 In The Big Jack Brother House

07.06.03 - 07.03am - It's less than 12 hours since the second eviction from the Big Jack Brother House. All of the housemates are still asleep. BJB has just delivered their weekly supply of food. However, to confuse the housemates they have taken all the labels off the tins of food. There could be some surprises in the week ahead.
07.06.03 - 8.12am - The housemates are still in bed. Leon Britton starts to sing "There were ten in the bed......." Leigh tells him to shutup as they could get locked up for that!
07.06.03 - 9.03am - Nick Rees is making the housemates beans on toast for their breakfast. Or so he thinks. Big Jack Brother has made a ruling that once a tin is opened then the contents have to be consumed. Nick has shaken all the tins and believes that he has the beans in his hand. However, the other housemates are less than happy when they are served tomato soup on toast.
07.06.03 - 10.12am - The house seems a quieter place without Leighton James. Jason Smith tries to raise the noise level by constantly snapping his shin bone but it has little effect. All the housemates agree though that Leighton isn't missed. In fact they spend the next 30 minutes taking the proverbial out of him. "I can do the best Leighton James impression" starts Leigh "in fact I used to be a professional Leighton James impressionist" Nick and Myra soon join in "I'm the best person ever to live in Russia" says Nick whilst Myra's contribution is "Do you know what you are talking about you are clearly an idiot who should keep their mouth shut" John Hollins is finding all this so amusing he tries his own impression "I am the worst football manager ever. In fact I am so bad that I shouldn't be allowed to manage again" Trust John to get it wrong.
07.06.03 - 11.44am - The housemates are playing a game of pin the tail on the donkey. Steve Watkin is first to try and pin the tail onto John Williams' backside, unsurprisingly he misses. Leon Britton can only manage to pin it onto John's kneecap until Leigh gives him a leg-up.
07.06.03 - 1.12pm - Lunchtime in the house and Myra serves up a meal of pineapples, baked beans and Tuna. Not the best of combinations but it is beaten by the desert served by Peter Owen of Ravioli and Ice Cream.
07.06.03 - 3.02pm - The housemates go into the garden for the first leg of the Big Jack Brother olympics that they have decided to hold. The first event is 'Throwing the Hollins" Nick makes a good start to the competition when he lobs john over 6 metres. Leon Britton has to withdraw from the event as he cannot lift John. Leigh Dineen though wins the first event when he comes up with a novel way of throwing Hollins. He grabs him by the folded arms and swings him around his head before throwing him an incredible 17 metres.
07.06.03 - 5.27pm - James Thomas has just won the second event in the BJB Olympics - the triple jump!
07.06.03 - 9.13pm - The housemates are opening some of the weeks supply of alcohol. They have now been drinking for three hours. They are now playing a game where they take a film title and substitute one of the names in that title with the world 'Hollins' Film Titles that get a particularly loud responses are "The Killing Hollins" "Three Men and a Hollins" and "The Empire Strikes Hollins"
07.06.03 - 11.24pm - Myra is comatose on the sofa. Leon Britton has gone missing. After ten minutes of searching he is found under Myra barely able to breath. Peter Owen is sat in the corner of the room starting to sing "I have an exclusive I do, I have an exclusive I do" Nick Rees throws John Hollins at him to shut him up.
08.06.03 - 1.13am - The housemates head to bed at the end of the 16th day in the house. They are now over one quarter into the Big Jack Brother experience. They calculate that John Williams has slept for 5 days, 14 hours and 18 minutes of that 16 days. No wonder he is tired. Just five days to go until the next eviction - have you voted yet?
