He was shocking, the only time he used any movement and pulled off the defender he scored. A terrible forward who has no strength, can't control the ball, doesn't create chances for others in short he's useless and doesn't deserve a place in the squad let alone a start. [Post edited 6 Jan 20:48]

Its not just about him scoring goals, his first touch is abysmal ,portioning poor and awareness just as bad,but well done him for doing one aspect of which he's well paid for | |

Agreed we have to give the manager a chance to turn him around, but currently he is not worth a place. If we hadn't paid a fortune for him he would be nowhere near the squad. Duff got nowhere with him, nor did Sheehan, I just hope Williams can work a miracle. | | | |

Nice to see a number of players having a good number of minutes on the pitch Allen getting 60mins Wood and Pedersen getting a full games increasing the strength of the squad available to the new manager, shame Abdulai off injured hope it is nothing serious.
Parker given the run out with 70mins will have to learn to get himself into the game but as seen in the second have that will come with time.
Game controlled which is to be expected but we did make it harder for ourselves than it should have been if you have so much possession at the back as we push forward there really has to be more movement across the front line with interchanging of positions first time Parker did it opened spaces up for quick balls. | | | |

Yates is a goalscorer. He showed if the team create chances for him he will put them away. The whole object of the game is to score goals.
Yates looks bad because the team could not create chances for him. In the first half the massed defence was an excuse. However after the goal Swansea did not blow them off the park with fast beak and more chances for Yates.
