Southend pay good wages at this level, I suspect he's on a decent earner there.
I'd have liked him back. He was hit and miss in his loan spell with us but I always throught there was a goal in him or the ability to create his own opportunities.

The 3 goals he scored for us were good finishes too. He also scored on his debut for Scunthorpe - and he scored a few more great goals for them too. Obviously consistency is an issue (as has been mentioned ) - then again if he was more consistent and scoring more regularly he'd still be at Fulham or playing in the Championship - he does look one with potential though. See how it goes. |  |
