Talk about milking it…….Tamworth are charging £38 for a terrace ticket and £42 to sit down when they entertain Tottenham.
Unless I’ve got it wrong I’ve also just noticed that the Sandy is closed for next Saturday’s game against Stockton. Which part of the ground are people buying tickets for? Might be tempted to try the Main Stand personally.
FTAO R Kershaw Does the discount for Dale season ticket holders still apply please? Andy Mazey is tweeting that he’s hoping for an attendance of 2000 and that the Sandy is being opened for Oldham fans.
Amidst all the meetings last week I wonder if one took place setting BJ a playing budget for next season? If so, I wonder if we might see a retained list released anytime soon?
Just seen a list of what clubs have spent on a 12 month period since 1st Feb 2023 on agents fees.Wish I could do the link -it’s on the Non-League Paper Twitter account. Dale are the fifth highest of the current NL clubs with £46k although I accept that some of that period was as an EFL club. Top of the list staggeringly are York on 128k! Oldham spent £82k, Southend £61k) (although I thought they were skint) and Chesterfield £52k. Interestingly enough Aldershot and Halifax, scrapping for playoff places, spent a mere 12k and 13k respectively.
Sorry if this is a bit premature but who would people like to see in the NL with Dale next season? Personally I’d be more than happy to see either Barnet or Bromley promoted alongside Chesterfield and Oxford City, Dorking, Borehamwood and Wealdstone all relegated. There’s the opportunity to put the boot into two of those in the next seven days. This is purely and simply to get rid of some of those southern trips and clubs with negligible away support and keep the games with the likes of Halifax, Oldham, Altrincham and Gateshead.
