Not for us, but for Bury.
i was credit checking a potential customer and decided to nosey onto
BFC's file and was (or maybe not) supprised to see a new CCJ for circa £22k lodged
only Wednesday this week.
looks like they are in need of a bumper crowd tomorrow to settle some bills

A special place in Hell for both of these men. Scum of the highest order. These men and their hideous actions do NOT change the FACT that AFC Berry are a fake club that have aided the demise of not only Bury FC but Gigg Lane. A merger will never happen. A "Phoenix" club should never have been set up away from the town of Bury. None of it makes any sense. The Football Association have a lot of answer for. So do local footballer millionaires like Kieran Trippier and Gary & Phillip Nevile who turned a blind eye. Not to mention all the local Billionaires who could have helped out and wouldn't of even noticed. I don't know how Dale & Day sleep at night. Tossers!"

Poll: What is it to be then?

Still blaming anybody but themselves then? Always the victims.

Now what I want to know is, if Bill Oddie and Lisa Stansfield have purchased shares in Rochdale and if not why not?

So, bury fc collapses, spending lots of money that was never theirs (yet again) whilst fans are happily "enjoying the ride" without a care for the consequences of such actions. "reginald" seems to be annoyed that more people didn't throw money onto the bonfire that was bfc on his command.
"all the local Billionaires"??
Hilarious. Only in bury...

I wonder if Reginald is that ‘Big Reg’ bloke on Twitter. That one has got a serious screw loose too.

Probably thinks the Class of 92 should have bought Bury instead of Salford

I bet they are both still living very cushy lives, not having to worry about the cost of living, high energy costs like many people do. Too many of those declared bankrupt do it to avoid paying their debts, and avoid paying taxes , but still live in their fancy houses.

Many idiots still blaming them two and the football authorities for that club's demise, instead of blaming most of the fans and other people involved with the Club Inc the waste of time Forever Shaking , for their support of spend now pay later attitude in trying to obtain levels of football they couldn't afford or sustain.

They are not listed as shareholders so I guess not. The answer to the second part of your question is probably they believe they have better things to do with their money.

I suspect James’ post was a bit tongue in cheek to be fair.

My informant says there is a new business plan at giggle lane. It's a new approach to bringing league football back to the people of bury, as promised. Apparently, they are selling the thousands of loyal fans who attend games that don't happen at the famous old club they haven't saved.

I've always said Gigg Lane needed sprucing up.

If you don't know why your posts keep getting downvoted, there's no hope for you.

At least they’re doing the right thing and going for the vote again. To anybody with half a brain a yes vote is the only true viable solution.

I hate Bury and the majority of their fans with a passion but this whole no club thing has gone on long enough now.

I sincerely hope the knuckle heads don’t get their way this time & they manage to merge and start playing football again.

Give me Bury & Oldham over flaming Harrogate, FGR, Salford etc any day of the week.

BFCSS would have to first be honest and open about their mistakes and what they want going forward. This would mean admitting it’s not a merge as there is no football club at Gigg Lane, only a ground that needs a team to make it viable in the long term.

Bury has a club that’s being run quite well by all accounts, whether AFC choose to play at Gigg Lane should be up to them now and only if it doesn’t actually create further financial issues in the future.

Surely the question should be asked if a phoenix club in tier six or seven can afford to maintain a stadium like Gigg Lane to meet safety requirements?
Darlo for example have found it necessary to downsize.

The stadium Darlo came away from was almost double the size of Gigg Lane was it not?

And also a stadium to which Darlo fans would've felt no loyalty. There was something surreal about that playoff tie with Dale in 2008, and the return leg at Spotland just felt like a much more authentic clash between old rivals

I wonder though: would the COA still be intact enough to revive as a footballing venue three years after hosting the last home match of 2020/21 had the Bottomley plan succeeded?

That it didn't, of course, says everything about the difference between the two sets of supporters. But still... something to ponder

Just reading about Darlo. I see Feethams was 8500 but that was too small for the footballing behemoth so decided to build a 25000 all seater. I can see the eyebrows of Dale fans being raised at the time.

Does anyone have any idea of the sort of attendances that they're attracting whilst playing at Radcliffe?
