When BBC Wales were showing Wales six nations games they did some cracking adverts for matches, the other countries seemed to take it all in good part except the English and they had an advert pulled, claiming all sorts, that's all it was was various people in Ireland, Wales, France, Italy and Scotland jerseys shouting England, street scenes, pub scenes, individuals, groups etc, then came the punch line, sub titles came across the bottom of the screen saying, sport is not just about who you want to win but who you want to lose also.

Was it hilarious? Of course it wasn't. It was just a joke that Welsh people can't see anything great with England. It gave me a bit of a smile and then It moved on to the next programme. If the English had an advert about us being sheep sh*gging coal miners I'd have the same reaction...it all adds to the rivalry,
The overwhelming majority of Welsh people love to get one over England...that is a fact. Who cares if it's seen as small minded by a few. Would you rather no excitement and rivalry leading up to Wales' biggest game?
As Lisa has said, England feel the same. They just try to come across as if they're above it all...which makes them seem even more aloof.
