Odds for leave have moved out slightly during the day. Can now get 9/2.
Wouldn't at all be surprised by a Leave vote though. Polls have been poor last few elections and this is new territory. That's why there are no exit polls, They compare results with the same ones in the recent last election, of which there is none in this case.

Re 270,000 came last year.
I don't understand the remark about more than half coming from outside the UK. The 270K is indeed the figure for EU migration to the UK in 2015. Total immigration to the UK from both EU and non-EU countries was over 600K, or 333K net when offset against the number emigrating.
It is the scale that worries some, although admittedly not so many are coming to settle in Wales. Nevertheless Cardiff, Swansea and Newport are all in the top 10 destination cities list in terms of number of asylum seekers on section 25 support per 1000 population.
It is not what we have seen, it is what is to come, there are already around 1 million Economic Migrants in or waiting to get in to Europe.

All the bookies are now showing about 6s or 7s odds on to remain.
The stock market and exchange rates are also convinced it will be remain.
I wouldn't be shocked as such if they are all wrong as they have been before, but the way the markets have moved this week suggests it will be a surprise.
The 'close' polls have all been close because of the undecided people. If they largely vote for the status quo which would seem more likely, it'll be less close than people predict.
If I had to bet, I'd go 55:45 ish remain - possibly tighter if there is a lower than expected turn out.

Surely leaving makes it easier for these "economic migrants" to get in, illegally like. It's no longer our European neighbours problem if people get into the UK illegally. The border to the UK becomes a border out of the EU, surely they just let them through. I know I would.
Upthecity!

In all seriousness, whichever 'side' wins (and that's what it is, a competition, not a rational choice) then we have a seriously divided country and the wounds may take a long time to heal...probably with a lot more bloodletting first. Lets hope it would be metaphorical.
These cretins that have deliberately stoked up passions with their lies and propaganda may well have opened a box of horrors that will haunt us all.

The grassroots of the Conservative Party are going to go for Cameron's jugular if Remain win. Dead man walking.
He's already said he's standing down before the next election so I doubt if he gives a flying f*ck what Colonel Mustard and his mates think. He'll have enhanced his reputation and will "do a Blair" and make shedloads of money.
Boris, on the other hand, will have p1ssed on his chips. Couldn't happen to a nicer bloke - the utter, utter c*nt.

Not sure about that - Cameron will be seen as the traitor and Boris the valiant loser who stood up for true Tory values.

Are there any entrance pollls then?
Quite a few years ago now, we were having work done on the house, and our builder who we'd used for years had a new tattoo on his upper right arm.
Map of the world, with 'North Pole', and 'South Pole' marked and over Britain it had an arrow saying 'all the other f***ing Poles'. I've been thinking of him today.

Don't be afraid of an education in economics.
I've always thought the best place to go for an education in economics is a bunch of computer tech guys that run an American anti climate change web site to be honest so I'm looking forward to being enlightened.
