Remain With or Leave the EU on 13:37 - Jun 23 by Nookiejack
What time is the London declaration as assume this will be the one that decides it?
They won't have a single count for London. They'll be counting in constituencies so will be announcing as they go.
London will vote overall to remain without a shadow of a doubt - vast majority of people I've spoken to here want to stay in. It'll be by how much that decides it and turnout levels as we've had a little bit of rain overnight

Depends whether armageddon hits first or not.
The quality of 'debate' has been truly awful. I despair. Referendum by lies, soundbites and celebrity endorsements. Maybe the EU is better off without us.
"Independence Day" "Put the GREAT back into Britain" "xenophobic" " Racist" Truly awful from both sides.

They're counting by local authority area not parliamentary constituency.

No such place as The Gower.
Did I say "The Gower" as if that is its name?
No. I didn't. I said "the Gower constituency", just like you might say "the Swansea West constituency". I live in the Gower constituency, I know how to say it.

Why, a sane person may wonder? Well apparently those favouring Brexit are worried (quite genuinely in some cases) that a pencil may be rubbed out!
With that in mind, we should presumably be expecting the results sometime in August, what with 'MI5' having to rub out votes and redo them :-)
Btw - something for the tinfoil brigade to worry about - 'they' don't need to change your vote you know, just invalidate it, and they can do that by also putting a pen mark in the other box as well. And that's a lot quicker than rubbing out pencil marks.

I've heard that Merkel woman (look, who bloody won the war anyway?) has sent over squadrons of highly trained X men for that very purpose.

I've just been to vote and the venue is one used by the Brownies and Scouts. The decorations are still up from the party they must have had for The Queen's birthday, it's ablaze with Union Jacks!
Apparently the flag of St George is anathema to some. One hall that provoked 'outrage' was decked out with bunting for the Euros.

Just saying really.
Wandsworth could be one of the first around 12:30.
P,S. England team flew back to vote but it was a waste of time as none of them could find the box let alone put a cross in it. (apologies if that joke's been done before).

More than half of them came from outside the EU. And Turkey won't be a member fir decades, if ever.
Re 270,000 came last year.
I don't understand the remark about more than half coming from outside the UK. The 270K is indeed the figure for EU migration to the UK in 2015. Total immigration to the UK from both EU and non-EU countries was over 600K, or 333K net when offset against the number emigrating.
It is the scale that worries some, although admittedly not so many are coming to settle in Wales. Nevertheless Cardiff, Swansea and Newport are all in the top 10 destination cities list in terms of number of asylum seekers on section 25 support per 1000 population.

How many asylum seekers come from the EU?
Will leaving the EU halt this flow in anyway?
Asylum seekers aren't a a problem anyway. All those wonderful "Refugees Welcome" types are putting them up in their own homes.
