Stanley withdraw from JPT so we now face Rovers Thursday, 14th Oct 2010 08:04 County's second round opponents in the Johnstone's Paints Trophy have finally been decided after Accrington Stanley decided to withdraw from the competition. Stanley beat Tranmere on penalties in round one although they fielded a suspended played in the match which meant they were charged with breaching Football League rules. Accrington Stanley have decided to withdraw from the competition after pleading guilty to the charge so Les Parry's side have been given a lifeline in the competition. County will now face League One side Tranmere Rovers in the second round of the competition during week commencing 25th September, with the winner facing Bury in the Quarter-Finals.
