Former winger joins TNS Friday, 10th Sep 2010 17:26 Former winger Ritchie Partridge has dropped down into the Welsh League after joining The New Saints on a free transfer following his release from his County contract. The 29-year-old made just one appearance for the Hatters this season under new manager Paul Simpson. Partridge arrived at Edgeley Park in January last season on a free transfer from Milton Keynes Dons and he went on to make 22 appearances under Gary Ablett as County finished bottom of League One. Despite being a very skilful player, the former Liverpool and Chester player put in more bad performances than good during his stint with the Hatters and was unfortunately handed a new deal by the administrators in the summer as they kept the club running whilst a takeover deal was being completed. Ritchie failed to impress new manager Paul Simpson and was restricted to just one appearance in the League Cup this season before a deal was struck to terminate his contract.
