County to face Accrington in JPT round two Sunday, 5th Sep 2010 07:46 County have been handed an away tie in the second round of the Johnstone’s Paints Trophy, after we were picked out to play fellow League Two side Accrington Stanley during Saturday’s draw. Stanley currently lie in 7th place in League Two having won one and drawn four of the five League matches played so far this season so a tough game is in prospect for Paul Simpson’s men. John Coleman’s side had been tipped to struggle this season by the pundits before a ball had been kicked although they have made a decent start. In round one of the competition Accrington Stanley travelled to League One side Tranmere Rovers and pulled off a shock win after beating Les Parry’s side 5-3. The Hatters had an easier tie as we were given a bye!
