BRENTFORD on 21:41 - Jul 22 by Hunterhoop | I mean, whether you wanted Brentford to win, lose or didn’t care...that is a huge bottle job. Home to bottom of the league. Wow. And now they play Swansea who look in some nick. |
The momentum is with the Cardiff and Swansea. Blimey Forest what a joke, losing through a walloping by Stoke. Covid 19 allowing, looking forward to a visit to Brentford's new stadium(might actually be able to get a ticket) and hopefully a trip to Watford. Don't ask for much, set my sights very low.

The Brentford manager reminded me tonight of that French golfer who nearly won the Open in Scotland but then lost the plot and spent an hour at the penultimate hole ankle deep in a river of defeat hacking away at a lost cause. Its all about bottle now and his stunned gloom has a risk of permeating thru to the rest of the squad. The Swansea manager on the other hand was jumping around like a bloke who just got lucky on a scratchcard. It’s going to be intriguing.
BRENTFORD on 02:20 - Jul 23 with 3324 views | timcocking | Bloody perfect. I really had to hope we'd beat West Brom, couldn't bring myself to cheer against us. Sterling work from Rangers. Well done boys. Only downside, those last two games have definitely sealed the fate of Manning and Eze.

They were always going to go - only now they'll probably command higher fees for the club. That Eze goal was world class.
BRENTFORD on 09:31 - Jul 23 with 3079 views | francisbowles | If it was a one off game against Swansea then I think they would have the edge. As it's over two legs then I think Brentford's talent will come through. The final though is anybody's to grab. [Post edited 23 Jul 2020 10:03]

A team that makes a late dash to the play offs and gets in pretty much by the last kick of the season like Swansea will have great momentum. Brentford on the other hand, having promotion in their own hands with two games to play needing just four points from six, will be absolutely on the floor and it'll be a massive job to pick them up from that no matter how talented their squad is. It wouldn't surprise me to see Swansea win the play offs.

Derby...Derby... Oh, you mean Wayne Rooney's Derby County. Aren't they already in the Premier league?

Swansea and Cardiff are both dry identikit grounds on retail parks now while Brentford and Fulham are great days out with the obvious exception of the game of football.

Fulham, for me. We score lots of goals against Welsh clubs. I'd like to visit Brentford's new ground in the new season and pay respect to Pete Gingham or whatever his name is.

BRENTFORD on 15:42 - Jul 23 with 2539 views | SonofNorfolt | Yep would rather watch Rangers lose at Brentford's new ground than watch them play Everton or some other team for £50 to put me back in the 92 club. Although if Harrogate go up this changes.

Exactly what I was thinking. I think they managed to keep their squad pretty much intact and it stood them well at the business end. They won 5 and lost only 2 of the post lockdown games. We unfortunately had to reduce costs and it damaged our already slim chance.

I think the January additions of Brewster, Gallagher and Guehi on loan transformed Swansea’s season.
