Deal close for Andre Ayew and we're talking to Liverpool about Markovic, they should be good additions if they come off, Iets hope both come off.

A real shame would have been incredible, a 2 year loan too! Really liked him at Chelsea but just another name where Chelsea decided to let go.

Only two from domestic clubs. Not sure what the limit is for loans from abroad. There's something in the back of my head saying we can't have more than 7 total, that might be a football league rule though.

Probably talking between £15m - £20m.

Agree though, he is a difference maker.

From what I've read/heard only teams to approach Dortmund have been ourselves, WBA and WHU. It seems WBA dropped out once they'd secured Sturridge, and by the sounds of it we were pretty close today. Not sure why this is as he's a quality player, and you would have thought 'bigger' teams would be interested.

He's had a few injuries and hasn't done much this season.
