Not sure who exactly people expect to come here and sit on the bench for us? Not a lot of quality players would, and the ones that would aren't worth the money. Tell you something, if we sent a reserve striker out on loan to forest last season and he'd bagged 9 goals, we'd absolutely want him to be on the bench/near the first team this season and get his chance show what he can do in games. I don't think this is terrible business if the fee is low. |

Absolutely - it's imperative we get a first team striker in, Huw said we were in for 2 strikers minimum (and that's without replacing Ayew if he goes). Honestly wouldn't mind Oliveira coming in as back up. |  | | |

I honestly hope this isn't who they had in mind when they told Gylfi that players were on their way.
A player who couldn't break double figures in the Championship obviously isn't going to do it in the Premiership either.

When I first seen the thread I thought it was a joke... But you know what, this is exactly the form HJ has shown for years now and yet some think he's a genius? Smacks of an emnes, an ngog, a bessone and that's without even mentioning the tabanous or eders.
It's getting beyond now how he's/they are getting away with what appears to be gross incompetence... We were sold the line that we need investment to move forward yeah right. If it was a case of we need to get rid of players and start a fresh as it were, then why were we not doing this straight after the euros whilst signing the replacements?

If we are bringing in Llorente, someone young like Oliviera (together with McBurnie) could learn a lot.
I'd like to see us bring in someone like Baston as well (and a wider player if Ayew goes). Give us a bit of flexibility then. | | | |
