I kid you not, it is starting to hit twitter.

Some Portuguese paper is saying that it is happening.

Poll: Are the owners doing enough for Swansea City

Heresy to some but I've never rated FS. Give me Tony Bennett or Dino any day.

Nelson RIddle was undoubtedly one of the great arrangers though.

I like all of them to be honest. And yes he was.

And he scored loads for me in my swans FIFA 12 team.

Ever since my son was... never conceived, because I've never had consensual sex without money involved... I've always kind of looked at you as... a thing, that I could live next to... in accordance with state laws.

Smacks of desperation, lack of scouting and next to zero imagination.

"Let's get that bloke back who was barely decent for us" has replaced "let's get that bloke who had a good game against us."

Progress?

Spot on......I now understand what they meant when we were told that the new owners would be taking us to another level.

"Terrible signing, Oliveira has a goal per game record of 0.02."

Math not your strong point.

Good spot,should have read 0.2

He is ok as an emergency striker. Could possibly cover Gylfi as well. Not someone we should be tripping over ourselves to sign though, last time he was he he just wasn't that good and he hardly set the championship alight last season.

As a third choice striker fair enough, but this is the kind of deal we should be doing on deadline day if it's cheap as chips. Concentrate on getting quality in first

If the fee is low I cannot understand why people think we are entitled to some Europe League quality striker. Nelson always put in a shift for us an was criminally underused by Monk when Gomis went MIA. He never got a decent run of games to see what he could do and his experience with Forrest would have done no harm at all. Just look at Barrow who didn't exactly have the most stellar of times in the Championship yet that experience has helped him progress to where we are today.

Even as a third choice striker I would be delighted to have him back. Emnes was never a striker, more a CAM option.

Have to agree that as a 3rd choice striker and a cheap striker then it would be a good signing......if he is back up to the no 1 then its a no no from me.

I agree. IMO though Nelson came across as a pretty intelligent footballer who could do well under Guido. Would have nothing against signing him.

Why wait until less than two weeks before the season starts if he's such an obvious fit?

We don't seem to have been looking that hard...

He usually does - eventually.

The clinical term is "Emnes Syndrome."

Will Dineen tweet "it's not what you know but who you know" again to celebrate his return?😷😷😷

Hopefully this is a squad signing and there's better in the pipeline...

Assuming Ayew stays(big If), then would Llorente,Ayew and Olivera not be stronger front 3 than we started with last season. Plus Mcburnie seems to have come on a bit and Emnes still floating around

Even though we've already lost 3? So, if ayew goes that's 4. And you'd be happy bringing in 2?

It's not wetting my appetite prospects of signing Olivera or Llorente, I would be happy to be patient for a couple of more weeks until big clubs start shifting their unwanted players etc. I would be happy for Ayew to start for a couple of weeks and if we are in the brown stuff maybe the possibility of Mo Barrow has a striker, which he might have been in his Swedish playing days.

Even when you know, you never know?

I wouldn't want him as third choice, I want to see McBurnie as third choice, he has had a tidy pre-season and surely deserves to at least chip in here and there. Unless they bring in Nelson and send McBurnie on loan to a Championship club to play week in week out to further his development, anywhere lower than that and it's a waste of time for him and us if you ask me.
