The 1973/74 Rochdale AFC team is widely regarded as the worst-ever to play in the Football League, finishing bottom of the third division, winning just twice in 46 games, ending the season with a 22-game winless run and using 32 players including some amateurs drafted in from Sunday league clubs to make up numbers! This book tells the story of this difficult season for both the club and the town.
