The 2023 Rugby World Cup Thread on 18:51 - Oct 14 with 1252 views | Togg | Second half Argentina played a very conservative forward oriented game . Argies fans in the Spanish Pub I was in were loud but fair and we wished each other well as that what sport is about.

The 2023 Rugby World Cup Thread on 18:20 - Oct 14 by shandyjack | That high hit is a massive game changer if a moment. Then the try came when they were holding on the ground. We didn’t deserve to win second half but a fair chance would have been nice. |
That ref was an absolute joke with decision, the emphasis in union was to stop contact to the heads of players, that incident was a stonewall red card all day long, shoulder to the head, NO MATTER WHAT CIRCUMSTANCES. As you have said SJ, they wouldn't have scored to go ahead, it could have been a different game, we went away from the gameplan to try and offload and forget to commit to rucks, it played into their hands. We have been done again by a dodgy refs decision, as I've already said the ref was a joke.

The 2023 Rugby World Cup Thread on 18:21 - Oct 14 by onehunglow | We lost our best defender at the worst time having to go off for a HIA due to non foul play Where the frck were the Welsh fans as it seemed the gobby Argies were the only noise there's bad day Anti egrets happy though clearly |
I only saw Wales for 20 minutes in this World cup and it was total incompetence. - 61 minutes Zammit Rees inexcusably kicks the ball dead. This alone changed the dynamics of the games with ARFU putting a boot on the Welsh neck for the next 10 mins. - 65 mins The IMO sees The Welsh centre off concussion referral and no penalty or card. - 70 mins Welsh mess up a line out. -75 mins Z-R and Dyer get white line fever. (An All Black would have strolled in). -78 mins Costelow passed the ball to an ARFU player while giving the eye in the WC2023. [Post edited 14 Oct 2023 19:13]

Why is it we get into a great position then give three lines out away then two dumb penalties just before half time. It’s a weakness in mentality we have . Lac Morgan is as much a captain as Grimes,ie silent .

That was an act of stupidity on Adams part and not for the first time, but the ref had called a halt to the game before that. But to allow that assault on Tomkins to go unpunished was a disgraceful decision , absolutely shocking the Argentine player knew exactly what he was doing, by going in with his elbow, Red card all day long. To say otherwise is clueless.

The 2023 Rugby World Cup Thread on 22:23 - Oct 14 with 1006 views | majorraglan | I watched the Wales game down the pub and couldn’t hear the commentary etc. my thoughts were that we started well, but it went down hill from there. I was very disappointed but not surprised, we kick the ball away which means the opposition are going to run it back at us which forces us to expend huge amounts of energy in tackling. We should have tried to run Argentina ragged with our pace, but we got decked in and their bruising forwards took control and then proceeded to tighten the screw. We were already losing when the intercepted pass was thrown and if truth be told not looking likely to score. Kicking the ball away to the opposition means more often or not they will carry the ball back to you which means more energy sapping defence and that’s the way it went. Argentina’s big brusing forwards carried the day. Ireland… where do you start. They didn’t kick when they had a couple relatively easy penalties and paid the price. I said yesterday they’d crash and burn and so it was. Tomorrow, I fancy SA and England to win. I’d prefer to see a France Fiji SF, but can’t see that happening.

Some fella being interviewed on Radio Wales live coverage earlier mentiond Wales to win and get the bonus points . Presenter had to mention to him on air , knock out stage now , bonus points do not matter . He was in a Rugby Club at the time , looking back maybe not the right answer .

You get” bullied “ because of your thinly veiled but poisonous, racist posts . Wales and the Welsh choke at games likes this. It’s why we never win anything. Lack of discipline as evidenced by arch dyck Josh Adams and a hooker who lost three lines out in a row . Welsh crowd silent whilst Argigies get behind their team
