If you call that bleating but not some of the rewriting of history that went before obviously your opinion which you ae most welcome to. |
Yeah I am always bleating on here. lol

Frederico Fernandez. on 21:43 - Dec 26 by Brynmill_Jack | What for alongside FF when Ash goes past it? I don't think he's good enough to oust him |
Ash isn't as good as a lot of people think, he NEVER wins a ball in the air, is no threat at corners, see yesterday's sitter, just hasn't got the leap, he is not quick, and he is prone to the odd reckless challenge, which nearly lead to a Villa goal. i would like to see Fernandez and Bartley given a run. That will never happen though with his best mate in charge.
Frederico Fernandez. on 10:56 - Dec 27 with 1145 views | MattG | At the end of the day, it's all about moving forward. We've gone from Monk to Caulker to Chico to Fernandez and I can't imagine there's many who don't see that as progress. I worried about Chico when he got sent off against Sunderland but he learned his lesson well and was a key part of Laudrup's team that won the COC. The diving and play acting did undermine his performances but I've no doubt he would have grown out of those eventually too, had he stayed. Having said all that, Fernandes is different gravy. Defensively excellent and looking more assured with every game, particularly with the ball at his feet. Four times the price, maybe, but certainly at least twice the player. With Ash alongside FF and both Amat and Bartley waiting in the wings, CB is a very strong position for us at the moment.

Another sensible reflection on Chico , though I honestly don't remember him play acting after Garry took over (and that's credit on the manager and the player). Imagine a Chico and Fernandez centre half combo!

Everyone around me in the intelligentsia end of the east stand (seven of us) agree that we may as well just give the ball back to the opposition when we get a corner. We're sure as sh*t not going to get a head on it. The last two seasons were different, Michu, Bony , Chico hell even Dyer scored headers from balls into the box

RE Chico/Fat Sam. Fat Sam was a dirty b@st@rd who regulalry put other players health and careers at risk with very crude challenges. On some occasional forays to Burnden Park in the late seventies, I saw some stuff from Allerdyce that was an absolute disgrace. No one, let alone Chico, needs take any lessons on football ethics from Dirty Fat Sam.

We seemed to do better with them short corners against Spurs. I looked forward to more short corners yesterday, but we resorted to planting on the defenders heads again.

Frederico Fernandez. on 12:57 - Dec 27 with 1019 views | icecoldjack | Fernandez is indeed quietly assured and growing into a low key no frills top level class act. Ash Williams just needs to stop going up for corners now, he is just embarrassing himself TBH ! Mr Square head yet again proving that if he is 3yrds out the ball will still go into row Z from his square head! The combination of Ash and freddy is looking good though, i must say that Fernandez looks at times like he has been here for years and that this league is easy for him, he reads the game superb and looks half a yard quicker because of it, the huff and puff of Ash is at times a perfect foil but i do start to think that when the next dip in form from our captain arrives a drop for Bartley or Amat would be interesting to see . Goes to prove that with the likes of Siggy, Fernandez, Bony and the wages of Fabianski you most of the time get what you pay for .

Frederico Fernandez. on 14:29 - Dec 27 with 925 views | snork44 | Bartley and Amat are class, but Fernandez is a different level he looks secure and assured to the point of not noticing him in the team. That is the sign of a good player, I loved Chico, but Federico is different gravy!

Frederico Fernandez. on 18:27 - Dec 27 with 858 views | Drizzy | The Flores fanboys just can't help themselves, can they? He had a decent first season but was exposed as a mediocre defender swiftly after our honeymoon period under Laudrup. Fernandez is different class and a better player in every department but gamesmanship. If Chico was so good then why isn't he playing in a top European league at the moment? Instead he's wasting the prime of his career in f*cking Qatar.
