Jimmy Briand (French striker) is available on a free apparently.
Could be worth a year contract as back up to Remy.
I don't get all this talk of Zaha. Just my opinion, but would rather have Hoilett and Phillips and as we're using this 3-5-2 then we don't have space for even both of those 2.
Of course if we go to a flat back 4, then an extra player like them would be needed as SWP and Traore would be our back ups, Petrasso won't get a sniff.
Fer is a good shout and would be a good signing I reckon .
I'm not sure why people think we'll get Holtby as he is probably one of the few players not linked with us. From what I read on here, he'd be a very good signing and 1 we could get perm if we stayed up. | | | |

At last someone else has joined me in lording Chris Wood.
Obviously he scored yesterday but I've been a fan of his for ages. I'd of signed him after the 2010 World Cup.
He's a monster, pacey enough and got an eye for a finish.
We'd of got him as back up for a million pre season but now I doubt it plus I doubt the foxes would want to strengthen a rival. |  |

I agree, especially about signing him after the 2010 World Cup.
I think though that if we matched Wolves' offer, the player himself would make the move happen.
Leicester must have another target lined up and wanting the cash to help the move through.

Who's George Friend when he's at home? |
L/B for Middlesborough, can also play C/B. I think he is their captain and won all the awards going at Boro last season, contract up at end of season. Previously played for Donny Wolves and started at Exeter. Sorry not sure of his favourite food or what car he drives. Also dont think we need him as we have plenty of cover.

Don't see the point in Remy going to Spurs, he should knuckle down score goals and then he'll get his dream champions league move. Why should he waste his talent at Tottenham who are not a top 4 club? All this talk of if they trigger the clause he'll go - he might not want to go to them, I wouldn't if I knew that scoring goals would possibly lead to a move to a club in the Champions League.
