Marine yo!
Dale travel over to Merseyside on Tuesday evening to take on Evo-Stik side Marine FC at their Arriva Stadium ground.
Admission to the game is expected to be just £5 for adults, with concessions available at £3 and under 11's admitted for no charge. Directions can be found to the Arriva Stadium here.
It is likely to be a mixed Dale team for this game as we play our part in a series of friendlies for the home side in which have been christened the "fab four".
The game has historical values for a couple of reasons. Dale boss John Coleman spent twelve months playing for Marine during his career and was quite a prolific striker for the Mariners back inthe mid 80's.
Famously, Dale played Marine in the first round of the FA Cup back in 1989, with the game played on a Friday night at a eerily empty Anfield with just a few thousand in attendance. Dale won 1-0 that night as they kick started an FA Cup run which saw us reach the 5th Round for the first time in our history.
