I've always loved The Tenant - directed by Roman Polanski.
Putting to side the fact that the guy is absolutely morally repugnant, it's a very dark, haunting film that genuinely scared the fck out of me.
Actually more disturbing than Repulsion for me.



Watched Polanskis Knife in the Water the other day and thought it was really fantastic. Beautiful, raised some nice questions, and technically very adept

No Doubt mate, However, 'Southern Comfort' compared to 'Deliverence' imo is like Comparing Nicolas Roegs 'performance' to Guy Ritchies ' Lock stock & two smoking Barrels'

I believe Walter Hill who directed 'The Warriors' Also Directed 'Southern Comfort'

Power Booth jacking up the tension in this scene set to number 11. Amazing Cajun Music as well.
